OK, I've been following this topic for a while and I've finally cracked and registered just to reply to this. Weird. Anyway, their food habits I find really strange. I remember when he did the trip to Japan/China/Hong Kong and literally spent the whole time eating McDonalds. Why go all that way and not try local food? I get people don't like spicy food or maybe have allergies etc... but they literally can't see anything beyond fish/pizza/chips/Weatherspoons lunch time menu. Do they ever go for a curry? Has Shawn ever turned to Charlotte and suggested they get a Chinese? Is Nandos a bit too adventurous? Does the thought of pasta cause some kind of gag reflex? It's just odd.

I’m with him on the AT disappointment. They are lazy and not a patch on European and US parks. They trot out the same mazes each Halloween and lots of other people are starting to complain about it.
It’s not a cheap day out and AT could do way better.

Telling Charlotte to pick up the Christmas tree whilst he just drones on.
And the constant over explaining!
Charlotte is just Shawn's parrot and more fool her for agreeing to marry him

I mentioned it before, but the tone of AT vlogs has changed massively since Charlotte stopped working there.

I agree that the quality of the events isn't great. However, he has the same nasty tone when he talks about AT that he had when the bloke told him not to film in Barry Island.

To be fair, if you go there all the time it’s going to be disappointing and you’re not going to be completely “wow’d” by everything.

I find the money dynamic between Charlotte and Shawn very interesting - when she has something to eat/drink at a theme park, it's clear she's bought it herself from her own money - I know some of it is jokey, but there's definitely a bit of tension when he asks for a bit of a doughnut or cookie or whatever! (not a euphemism)

Yeah she does me too...my kids were in stitches on the Wallace ride at Blackpool when I shouted look there's Shawn's mum.
