I hate Gatorland with a passion. All that hick shtick and using animals for money. They're not a rescue or a sanctuary, just a sideshow.

OT, and I'm not sure if you've ever been to Gatorland in person, but it's not entirely what these dumb vloggers always show. In fact, they typically show a small fraction of what's there.

It's more than just hicks too (I presume you're implying whites). One of their longest and most loyal and beloved employees was a hugely awesome and memorable African American man and his kids and grandkids have worked (and grandkids still work) at Gatorland to this day.

Also, they actually *do* do rescues (even traveling out of state sometimes) and they regularly take gators into their care who have been deemed nuisance gators thanks to people's treatment of them and they'd otherwise be destroyed / euthanized. Some of their longest lived residents would have been killed years ago due to people's stupidity if it weren't for GL saving them and caring for them. They also have more than just gators there - animals who they've worked with FWC or other organizations who have been deemed non-releasable due to injury or human imprint, or animals that were from other rehab facilities deemed non-releasable due to human stupidity.

They also have an extremely well-known, huge native-birds (nontagged; they can come and go as they please) breeding marsh and rookery on property that sees hundreds, if not thousands, of birds annually flock there to give birth and raise their young. It's really a sight to see. Nature photographers come from all over to photograph there. It's listed in numerous birding sites and books.

There's also a beautiful and peaceful swamp walk - an elevated walkway you walk through of acres upon acres of natural wetlands - I've seen racoons, otters, snakes, different frog species, etc. doing their thing back there - it's actually a marsh that is protected and serves as the headwaters to the Everglades. There's even a 500-year-old Cypress back there to view. It's all quiet back there and no one really even goes back there much.

And no, I'm not affiliated with Gatorland or anything but I did have a close friend who worked there years ago and it's just a wonderful group of really caring people - super serious about animal conservation, education (vloggers never show all the educational placards all over), and protection though they present a jokey, lighthearted "hick" front.

I just know it's been around for 70+ years, is an Orlando icon, and they do so much good that they don't get enough credit for or the average person knows much about, and vloggers don't do it justice 99.99% of the time. :)

I watched the Gatorland vlog because I was curious how they would present Adam, and it wasn't annoying at all. Tim didn't seem perpetually confused about where he was, their friendship was entertaining, and he didn't spend the entire vlog trying to find something to eat.

I wonder if Jim and Nicole want to be socially distanced when doing things with the trackers? It's strange that they're barely mentioned, if at all, and are always a short distance away in the background. They just seem so awkward around each other. I didn't watch the Anna Maria Island vlogs, maybe it was different with them in the same house?
I have been watching their vlogmas videos, and Jim seems weird. Also, I wonder what kind of money Nicole makes as a Disney blogger because they're a little spendy for someone who's been furloughed most of the year, and just included themselves as one of the charity spotlights at the end of a tracker video.

It’s interesting, only 1 of their last 12 videos have hit 150k views, 4 of them haven’t hit 100k including the newest Gatorland one that is currently at 42k views, their new sub rate is way down....they aren’t going to be able to keep throwing around money if these trends continue

This is not related to Trackers per se but did anyone catch Adam the woo's Epcot adventure with about 7 other youtubers including some of his west coast crew as well as Jackie and Nate. Anyway, I found it curious that with all these folks gathering, taking pictures, reveling in the experience of getting everyone together, I kept wondering where are Slackers? FRE has called out Slacker for his unwillingness to do any collabs and I found it odd that with this kind of memorable experience at Epcot joining the West Coast vloggers with the East Coast that Slacker wouldn't be there....especially since it appears he/Jenn were on property at Bay Lake Tower when it was filmed.

Exactly right. I think it's because Jenn is in every.single.video now. And inserting herself into thumnails all the time too. That, and I think the average theme park-centric viewer is getting "Jackson fatigue." The only people that will be left are the crazy-obsessed, Jackson-loving, suck-up stans who would watch the two of them literally reading a phone book for 30 mins and call it riveting, Oscar-quality work. 🤮 They are that nutty. But even those nuts aren't enough to sustain the channel at the rate it's going (with the spending they've done in this year alone!)

I could not bring myself to watch the Gatorland vlog because I already saw everything they did on Adam's vlog a week earlier and at this point it's old news. Same thing when PMM , Super Enthused and others post their vlogs a week before TTT. It's just boring to watch the same experience rehashed.

Jackie of Super Enthused posted Gatorland vlog December 4. Two weeks before Dimbo!

I feel like Jenn feels threatened by others. I remember I mentioned Super Enthused in a comment once and I was blocked. It's like they do not want to share the spotlight whereas the other vloggers are happy too and just like having a good time together. Shes had her issues with PCD and Justin, the other vloggers probably dont like her and wouldn't want to hang anyways.

"Hicks" is an equal opportunity term that one only needs to act the role. Anyone of any nationality or ethnicity can be a hick.

I'm glad to hear that they rescue, I had not seen anything on that before. I'm a huge supporter of Big Cat Rescue over in Tampa (yes, yes, Carol Baskin... she did not kill her jack ass ex, he had a second family down in South America he abandoned her for) and believe all creatures, even alligators which scare me to bits deserve our best.
I understand that these animals, gators and big cats alike require $$$ to keep them fed, housed and vetted. Hence the tours, youtube platform, even the shows.

It is arguably animal abuse to have people squat over an animal though. Certainly not sending a message of respect.

I'll just say this. There is no abuse going on there. 100% respect and, quite frankly, pampering. ;)

It’s sad really, SE and PMM have grown a lot together recently by working together and are getting several #hosted dinners and they make it look fun and interesting...I think Jen is ultimately afraid of losing subs and views to another channel after people watch the collab and realize they like the other vlogger better, I mean imagine Tim and Jenn with Jackie, Jackie’s video would be tons better and people would see there’s no comparison between Jenn and Jackie

JennDoesn’t will only associate with other vloggers if:
1. They’re giving her stuff. Handmade ears, free dinners, DVC exclusive event stuff etc.
2. Have a bigger audience than them. E.g., The Ballingers and in the past Alli Speed. Dim so desperately wished to be Charles Trippy years ago.

Jenn's likely intimidated by a lot of these up-and-coming vloggers (i.e. Jackie, Taylor, Molly). They're cute, they're fun. They know their stuff. They don't unhinge their jaws to eat.

She can't stand any competition of the female variety. LOL She'd never allow Tim to do any sort of vlog with them because she can't stand anyone having attention except her.

If you want proof see the #Hosted Wine Bar George videos

Super Enthused: September 4
Jackie showcases WBG.
•. Tells the origin of the restaurant.
•. Who “George” is
(a master sommelier)
•. Video footage of the theming and interior of the restaurant
•. Explains what kind of wines are served
•. Actually is an adult and consumes wine that is paired with her chosen two food dishes

TTT: August 28 Staycation at Copper Creek Cascade Cabins vlog #1 check in day
•. Insist on outside table. Away from people and all their “germies”
•. Order up lots of food.
Remember this is #HOSTED! Including a $135 tomohawk cut steak. Which they take to go in its entirety.
•. Show themselves stuffing their faces

Note: I don’t think TTT has been “invited” back since this video.
(Duh! TTT video versus Super Enthused. No contest!)
TTT still claims WBG as their favorite restaurant and have dined there since. But not on George’s dime!

I'd be so embarrassed to order a $135 Tomahawk if I was being hosted. And then take it "to go!"

How crass.

Ok well Molly definitely unhinges her jaw to eat BUT there is something really likable otherwise about her.🤣🤣🤣

I saw someone left a yelp review that WBG is misleading. I have eaten there and I must admit they might be right.

When WBG “hosts” a vlogger/IGer/blogger they seem to up the portion sizes. Which I find kind of crappy. I now they are more a tapas place but still to be misleading or provide TTT with better portions is crappy

I wonder what happens to those baby gators, I know Gator Land is big but they can’t keep all of them surely. As someone said it reminds me a bit of Tiger King. Issues with the place aside I much preferred the vlog of just Tim having fun!

Timbo & Jennypoo are burning far more than just friendship bridges as they putter along. Many of these places hosting them are seeing their mistake after the first go-round. Because these companies will not post warnings out there for each other, these two grifters keep getting hosted by conning companies using letters similar to what we saw (over on guru) where Tim promoted himself as an expert travel inflencer and said how much they'd love to review the restaurant, if invited.

Tim has quite the bonfire going with companies he's burned.

What we need is a website dedicated to companies researching influencers through the reports of other companies.
