What happened to Michael Kay? I only ever heard of him/kept up through FRE, he took the crown of cringe Disney/Orlando influencers for me but seems to have gone radio silent.
He’s totally gone silent after he got married. I don’t think he’s even been seen anywhere

Look at this mole at Attractions using Twitter to “encourage” their kid onto going on the water ride. Oh so sorry you didn’t get the footage you wanted. Reminds me of the Trackers

Today I saw the lone, negative #hosted review I've seen of the Universal Kids Resort, posted by Theme Park Insider.

https://www.themeparkinsider.com/flume/202606/12512/

This piece is interesting because it does confirm that Universal paid for flights and accomodations.

Guessing Theme Park Insider could be skating on thin ice with Universal now, though.

For what it is worth, even though I think the park doesn't look great, I believe it will likely find an audience given the very dense population of Dallas. I think adding more water park elements like Sesame Place in PA would be a cheap and easy improvement they could implement.

I knew the flights were paid for because no way the Bojos would ever pay out of pocket to fly on Southwest. They would take a flight to Dallas with 2 layovers if it meant that was the only way they could fly first class.

I actually used to only fly Southwest but they are no longer a budget airline. I fly maybe 2 times a year from Florida to New Mexico to visit family and I just choose whatever flight is cheapest. I’m not set for life like the Bojos and always get an economy ticket and I’m usually at the very back of the plane.

I mean- It's not Universal Orlando- but it will go over wonderful with the target audience of 3-10.
Yeah I think it will do fine in the interim. Except I imagine five or ten years down the line major renovations will have to be done. I hate to sound snotty but the hotel in particular looked cheap.

Like someone already mentioned, the county/state fair already has this park beat. Sorry Universal, another swing and miss. Excited to see Jenn suffer through it.

Oh the sunburn...but no I don't see a lot of locals paying those sort of prices for maybe more than one visit especially when there's Six Flags in the area. And if they want something kid friendly there's a Peppa pig park not that far either with better prices and similar rides.

I did read that the Annual Passes for Universal Texas were "currently sold out" already, so they at least have those people locked in.

Dim and Ginn riding front row on the kiddos coaster, probably pushing past kids who would enjoy that experience… smh. Dim mentions he has to take his hat off and blaming the TM for not telling him too. mole… it’s a fast moving ride, use your judgement. The TM probably unknowingly thought you were a big boy who would know to remove it… maybe was in the back making sure the kids on the ride were settled. And Ginn.. “omg, omg, omg!” No wonder her kids are afraid of anything that moves.

Are they having adults only time? Maybe jealous of the other vloggers there enjoying the park without those pesky kids. Curious to hear what the reasoning behind leaving their kids so they can weehee and woohoo on kiddie rides.

Dim, you are the creepiest of all creeps. You just keep getting creepier.

I have an almost 4 year old and this isn’t a park I would vacation to. Now if we were already in the area for whatever reason then maybe we’d stop by but it’s definitely not my top choice of kid friendly parks to vacation to especially in the summer and the Texas heat.

The park seems so underwhelming from the clips I have watched online. It definitely needs trees and shade and more greenery. I saw the Bumpy at the end of the coaster and was like whatttt??? Put some plants around. Looked like a shed was set up.

I would definitely visit if this was within an hour of my house and my kids were the target age. But I would never take a plane ride and book a hotel to make this a vacation. They might do fine just with locals, it’s cute enough for something to do on a weekend. Just surprisingly skimpy for Universal to put its name on.

Jackie takes a break from climbing on the bunk bed and eating Kraft Mac n cheese to read a welcome letter from Universal: welcome to those who are local (across the street), regional (coming from Dallas), or national (like the FL grifters). No welcome to international guests because I guess someone had the good sense to realize nobody would travel internationally for this.

Also I know restrictions are in place for the park but I see this whole thing as a Trojan horse. Oh dang, nobody wants to visit the park aimed at 3-8 year olds so we HAVE to build giant roller coasters and dark rides (for the community sake!!)

FINALLY a photo without a filter 🤣🤣🤣
Does anyone remember when Gin first started wearing acrylic nails?

She would witch that they were too long and she couldn't do anything? Me thinks she was lying because she didn't do anything then either.
AKA this length, my current natural nail length
Image 28.jpeg

Now Gin's current nails look like daggers compared to her first set (yikes sorry they look atrocious)

I posted this in the last thread....Dim & Gin on the Jurassic Park Coaster.
Guessing Budley & NAG were with 🍑 since you can't hear or see them, probably napping

I think the park looks fine for the age range of 3-8. But I have to say their lack of paint is really bad. I think of Suess Landing in IOA and there’s color everywhere. This park is just plain concrete upon plain concrete with a splash of color here and there.
