He’s totally gone silent after he got married. I don’t think he’s even been seen anywhereWhat happened to Michael Kay? I only ever heard of him/kept up through FRE, he took the crown of cringe Disney/Orlando influencers for me but seems to have gone radio silent.
I knew the flights were paid for because no way the Bojos would ever pay out of pocket to fly on Southwest. They would take a flight to Dallas with 2 layovers if it meant that was the only way they could fly first class.Today I saw the lone, negative #hosted review I've seen of the Universal Kids Resort, posted by Theme Park Insider.

This piece is interesting because it does confirm that Universal paid for flights and accomodations.
Guessing Theme Park Insider could be skating on thin ice with Universal now, though.
For what it is worth, even though I think the park doesn't look great, I believe it will likely find an audience given the very dense population of Dallas. I think adding more water park elements like Sesame Place in PA would be a cheap and easy improvement they could implement.
Yeah I think it will do fine in the interim. Except I imagine five or ten years down the line major renovations will have to be done. I hate to sound snotty but the hotel in particular looked cheap.I mean- It's not Universal Orlando- but it will go over wonderful with the target audience of 3-10.
especially with the extreme heat, snow, rain, etc.Yeah I think it will do fine in the interim. Except I imagine five or ten years down the line major renovations will have to be done. I hate to sound snotty but the hotel in particular looked cheap.
Oh the sunburn...but no I don't see a lot of locals paying those sort of prices for maybe more than one visit especially when there's Six Flags in the area. And if they want something kid friendly there's a Peppa pig park not that far either with better prices and similar rides.Like someone already mentioned, the county/state fair already has this park beat. Sorry Universal, another swing and miss. Excited to see Jenn suffer through it.
I did read that the Annual Passes for Universal Texas were "currently sold out" already, so they at least have those people locked in.Oh the sunburn...but no I don't see a lot of locals paying those sort of prices for maybe more than one visit especially when there's Six Flags in the area. Possibly like how the top tier of TTT Patreon has “sold out”I did read that the Annual Passes for Universal Texas were "currently sold out" already, so they at least have those people locked in.
I have an almost 4 year old and this isn’t a park I would vacation to. Now if we were already in the area for whatever reason then maybe we’d stop by but it’s definitely not my top choice of kid friendly parks to vacation to especially in the summer and the Texas heat.Oh the sunburn...but no I don't see a lot of locals paying those sort of prices for maybe more than one visit especially when there's Six Flags in the area. W T ever lovin’ F is this? I know I’m old and couldn’t care less about ‘trends’ but would someone do an old bird a favour and explain it to me
Jackie takes a break from climbing on the bunk bed and eating Kraft Mac n cheese to read a welcome letter from Universal: welcome to those who are local (across the street), regional (coming from Dallas), or national (like the FL grifters). No welcome to international guests because I guess someone had the good sense to realize nobody would travel internationally for this. The park seems so underwhelming from the clips I have watched online. It definitely needs trees and shade and more greenery. I saw the Bumpy at the end of the coaster and was like whatttt??? Put some plants around. Looked like a shed was set up.
I would definitely visit if this was within an hour of my house and my kids were the target age. But I would never take a plane ride and book a hotel to make this a vacation. They might do fine just with locals, it’s cute enough for something to do on a weekend. Just surprisingly skimpy for Universal to put its name on.
Does anyone remember when Gin first started wearing acrylic nails?
