Been there, HRT is a saviour if you can take it, my bladder is back to normal now.I’m in a loo now within 20 minutes because my bladder can’t hold out. God damn perimenopause.

she has mentioned long run digestive issues a lot recently, and she seems to chafe loads too! She’s just posted that she spent 3 minutes in the toilet during the marathon yesterdayI’m not sure I’d be publicising that fact as a dietician!
Totally. Her carb loading for Boston was off the scale! It made me feel ill just looking at it! No one needs that much food for a 4 hour run. No wonder she’s shitting all the timeI honestly think the sheer volume of food she eats in the run up will be half the problem
It can also take up to an hour to have an effect (results vary). Not sure on her timings for those but she could do some analysis on the toilet stops in line with this. She had 3 caffeine gels, caffeine makes you poo and is a diuretic. Plus you only get the boost from the first gel, any more has a reduced affect. As a dietitian she should know that.
I can't do jelly babiesNever liked gels. So I've always just done sports drink, a few shot blocks and jelly babies from the sticky hands of well wishing children.
That’s my strategy tooNever liked gels. So I've always just done sports drink, a few shot blocks and jelly babies from the sticky hands of well wishing children.
She’s just desperate for brand deals on gels etc. that’s why she switches. The perfect option is whatever works for you. I find it odd that she hasn’t figured out her nutrition yet as a dietitian and a serial-marathoner.
