Honestly, that wasn’t really the worst thing. It seems neither the Brits working on it not their Jamaican counterparts realised this was a PR disaster.
The BRF basically needs to drop the oversee territories and only do normal state visits. Or at least drop tours but conduct those visits as regular state visits.
But W&K have much more pressing PR problems that are a constant. That’s way more problematic than a stupid landrover drive. Because the worst thing to happen is that more territories drop the RF. So what? It would be a blessing more than anything else. As long as the UK keeps them all is well in BP.
That Landrover incident made me cringe as a Brit because it was so like we were back in the days of the good old empire, it made a lot of people here's toes curl. We are having trouble running our own country let alone trying to reinforce the days of a long lost empire.

Yes @billybudd would love to see William at the Cop27 meeting. Especially if it forces the government's hand to do more than they currently are committed to.
Kate could do a lot more with this, and also Commonwealth free trade/African digitization. She's an educated girl, and swots. She could help a lot just by having lunch with commonwealth officials once a week.
