I think this might be it but I don't see anything strange about her reaction tbhIntrigued to see this video of Kate at the Tour de France, tried Googling it but couldn’t find it...can someone post a link pls x
Respectfully, you're reaching. I did not say it was "wrong"; I merely asked why he was still doing it.A father holding his son’s hand is considered wrong now is it?
We get it, you don’t like them but that criticism really is scraping the bottom of the barrel.
Yes I do agree with you on that!
Oh I didn’t know about the other one. I only knew about the one she had to deliver.A fifth. She had two miscarriages![]()
But that’s confusing the people with the institution. The Monarch deserves a train and a yacht, whether or not people think Elizabeth Windsor does. Might as well argue that 10 Downing Street should be sold and the PM housed in a council flat.I'm not sure owning a yacht and a train really reflects status nowadays, maybe 50 years ago where the monarchy was a lot more respected and accepted. But nowadays I think the general perception is that they really do not need a train or a yacht or any other relic and it makes them look a bit knobbish. Considering the UK has a national debt of trillions of £, I'm sure they'll live without and I don't think the taxpayer should have to foot the bill for either.
The blog post has been picked up by royal photographers and reporters and they say the blogger is right.I also like Camila and Charles, they might not be that glamorous but seem to have good values and intentions. It is a shame they were not allowed to marry when they first got together. If they would have been, and everything would have been different in today’s royal family.
I was a bit disturbed this morning when I read that Kate and William only allow one a Royal photographer to attend their events. All other photographers apart from attending events and therefore cannot make any money, as they have no photos to sell.
I don’t know if the same is true for the other Royals.
I find this really bad and I don’t understand the rationale behind it. Apparently one photographer found it ironic that Kate and William visited a job center and brought comfort to people affected by the pandemic, but continue to bar photographers from earning any income without commenting on it.
It seems hypocritical.
Somehow, I find it equally disrespectful as the Tesco Christmas puddings. It comes across as if they do not value the people that work with them and for them, and the royal photographers are very important as they essentially promote the Royals in the UK and abroad.
I don't know. I think that's what Penny Junor needs to be asked. She was the one who's been saying it for 20 + years in her dogged defence of Charles. What does ‘mentally unstable’ sound like?
I know a lot of people say that Prince Harry looks like a young Prince Philip, but I can't see it at all. I do think William looks like a young Philip though. I still Harry is Hewitt's son and Lord Porchester is DEFINITELY Andrew's father. Eugenie looks so like him.I never knew that about Andrew's supposed parentage! It really is uncanny, and I never thought he looked anything like Philip.
Conversely I've never understood the question over Harry's father. He's 100% Charles in looks to me, William is 100% Diana.
I've just ordered a copy of the infamous Andrew Morton Diana book. Is it any good even years later?
Good point.Could it be that it was possible it was Philip's or Porchester's, but no one knew until Andrew was born?
Love the Waltons comment. At the risk of being labelled a H&M crazy, I would like to say why I'm not keen on this pair.
And it all starts with the engagement interview! I'd never heard of Suits or MM till Harry sent the letter to the press but when they announced their engagement, I thought that's nice - 2 people in love.
Then I heard the interview!!!
1) Meghan doesn't have any familyNow I'm an only child of a single parent and I was offended that me and my mum were being described as not a family. Of course it turns out Meghan has family!!! Quite a few as a matter of fact!!!
2) The royal family will be the family she's never known!!! Where to start here! Those of us that are British know that this lot aren't the Waltons!!!
So from then on I labelled them as a pair of bullers
I suspected that they'd go to america to hawk themselves. The connection with the royal family is all theyve got to sell.
I'd have more respect for them if they'd said, Big Willy has got 3 kids, Ginge is now surplus to requirements, we're going to america to seek our fortune because we've already got the fame. Honesty would be the best policy.
As i said I don't like them. But the only members of the Royals I like are The Queen and Princess Anne. I think Anne would have made a great queen.
Now, I think the monarchy will struggle when Betty shuffles off to the Throne room in the sky.
I am not sure. The Queen has been spotted with less poppies in recent years, so I am not sure if they are really representing specific people. Kate has been wearing one, two or three poppies over the years. It's mostly royal ladies that wear more than one poppy and it does look fantastic when they are all decked out in glorious mourning coats. But I don't buy that they stand for specific people. Otherwise we would always see the same number. There isn't one, it's personal choice.
There were articles out years ago, that Liz wears them in remembrance of specific people and therefore that number (one poppy per person).
Certainly could be something like that or it could be as naff as "X poppies looks great with this outfit, so that's what I'm going with".
One would be enough, which is just to mean that there's no particular tradition or significance (aside from a personal) to the number of poppies they choose to wear.
There were always a number of official Royal Photographers at every event, they were approved as well.Maybe its because its disconcerting to have loads of photographers around at an event? And perhaps too many photographers get in the way of the event itself?
Im not that used to photographers at events, but I know at weddings etc....the official photographer tends to spend ages and ages 'taking' informal photos of the couple and the family....Its great fun for guests as they can continue to socialise and let the photographer get on with it, but.....it does take the wedding couple away from their guests for an hour or so!
What's more important....that the royal family visit the job centre and interact with staff and people who use the place, or that a pack of photographers are given access?
I agree about the Tesco Christmas puddings though...that seems a bit cheap.....didnt Queen Victoria used to give staff hampers to say thank you?
Ok, but surely this wasn’t the only property nearby?Because it’s close to Eugenie’s parents and grandparents?
The romantic in me is hoping its some long lost descendent! But her blood line has gone now hasn't it?!So would I! I’ve been recording it - yet to watch it.
Yes it is. I read The other Boleyn girl first then got I to the rest of the series. Realised you were talking about the tv series. I dont have whatever I need to watch it so I've just read all the books. I prefer the Plantaganets to The Tudorss this Phillippa Gregory about Katherine of aragon? I loved the other Boleyn girl.
Yes, there are different reports. The article says he propositioned her not proposed to her.
It doesn’t sound like she even went out with him romantically because she thought it may damage her career.
