I don't get it. I'm old school. If my parents told me they loved me it was very rare, but that didn't mean I thought they didn't, I knew they did. As a different generation, obviously I tell my kids I love them and I'm sure they know it but I don't feel the need to shout great declarations of love to them - it's what you do rather than what you say.
I don't get this constant beautification of them either. They are nice looking girls, but so is every other kid in their own parents' eyes. Sarah posted a picture of Esme today and gave it a single caption of "beautiful". It's always beautiful, or stunning, or gorgeous. It's weird, they're just kids, they don't need to be thinking about whether they are beautiful today or not. Just let them be kids.
