TERRIFIED TEEN CHASED AT A CASTLE! WILD ATLANTIC WAY | VAN LIFE IRELAND

Lazy starts the vlog. She started the vlog yesterday so it's a two day in one. They didn't film much yesterday as they had a slow morning and Isla was feeling irritated with her Chicken Pox.
Back to yesterday. Isla is sat next to Lazy and they've all been chilling in their beds. Lazy is convinced Jace's glasses are wrong because he keeps taking them off and saying he doesn't like them. She's noticed his squint several times when he looks up close at something so Lazy feels like the prescription is wrong. First up today is a visit to the pharmacy for Isla. She has spots on her tummy, back, neck and a couple on her forehead. Yesterday was a bank holiday so nothing was open to get calamine lotion. Lazy loves Jace's singing; he came up to her this morning and said he loves Mila so much because she's so cute. Isla tells us she calls her a melon and that Jace told her off this morning for not calling her "mema".
Lay says they went to a chemist to get the lotion and then headed to a dessert parlour for the most massive delicious giant ice creams Lazy has seen in her whole life. Afterwards they headed to the Bridges of Rock. Voiceover from Creepy (read from the Wild Atlantic Way website of course) "The Bridges of Ross were originally three rock arches that spans deep coastal incision like bridges. Nowadays there is only one bridge as the other two dropped into the sea." Lazy felt sorry for the bridge because it would be thinking it was next. Drone shots as Lazy talks. She wanted to get a photo of the kids on the bridge so she told them to not push each other, argue or play, to stand still whilst she got a photo. She turned around and Esme was stood on her head. The waves were insane, mesmerising. Creepy stands on the bridge.
After exploring the area for a couple of hours they jumped back into the van for lunch and drove around Loophead. Loophead Lighthouse is stooooooooonin and there has been a lighthouse there for over 300 years. The one in the footage has been there since 1854. Isabelle was studying, Isla was itchy so she was reading a book, and Lazy was feeding Mila whilst Jace and Esme got out of the van for an explore. They jumped back in the van with the aim to get to Dolphin Bay but Isla was feeling fed up so they just parked up for a bite to eat and went to bed. Isla feels better today so now they're driving to Dolphin Bay.
Isabelle screeches and runs from Esme, who is chasing her with a crab. A cackling Lazy says she just fell out of the van and films the crab, which Esme is dangling by it's leg. Lazy cackles as Esme continues to chase Isabelle. Lazy is used as a human shield by Isabelle as Esme continues to demonstrate her excellent care of animals to the ifam (not!). Creepy films a miserable Isabelle and Esme and asks if they're going to make up or if it will be crab for dinner tonight. Esme tells "crabby dabby" to rest in peace. How many animals is it they've killed now? Must be at least 10. They're at Carrigafoyle Castle in County Kerry.
Creepy loves seeing historical things like castles. This is an incredible example of medieval castle, built just before 1500 by one of the local chiefs to scam the local shipping industry. The castle used to be on a moat in the water. The chief and his men would go out and board the vessels coming in from the ocean down to Limerick, and demand money for passage. Creepy says "good on him" and that he was a right entrepreneur and all that. Yes, sounds like something you would do yourself Creepy. Does £40 for a blanket made in a sweatshop ring any bells? Drone shots. Creepy films inside a watch tower and is excited to be in there 500 years later with a camera.
The Inghams are now at Bromore Cliffs. Lazy reads a sign that says that unsupervised chuldren will be sold to the circus. They'll probably be treated better there than you useless idiots treat them though. Isla screams. Creepy explains the cliffs are a very beautiful set of cliffs with a big old sea stack in County Kerry, which someone told Lazy is very beautiful. Not so beautiful when your feral, screeching chuldren are ruining the peace and quiet. There are only a few days left of the trip. Shots of cows. Isabelle says Creepy is embarrassed because he was vlogging and Isabelle shouted really loudly in the background. He says he's not embarrassed, just annoyed. Isabelle and Esme are in a mood where they're annoying each other and trying to annoy everyone else.
The Inghams go into the lookout post. Lazy saw an article in a newspaper about a fox that was spotted trying to get into a milk jug. Isla points at an old phone and Creepy explains that if the watchmen saw enemy planes coming over they'd telephone the people and tell them. Lazy says it was the first mobile phone. Creepy says it's not a mobile. Isabelle struggles to understand the old cursive ink writing from that time. Creepy knows we've seen a lot of cliffs on this trip but the Wild Atlantic Way is about cliffs, castles, beautiful oceans all kinds of other things. Lazy calls him back into the building and points out where they've been today. They saw an ifam yesterday who said they could get a ferry across but they decided to drive. The Shannon Estuary is famous for seeing dolphins, which go there to breed. The estuary is massive and the tide was out so they saw no dolphins. Lazy loves being outside all the time. The cliffs are all different. Jace has been screeching a lot and starts crying. Esme says there was a spider going up his arm so she got hold of the web and took it off him. Knowing her she probably then stamped on it.
