This might be unpopular but…… guys working menial retail jobs. I just can’t get on board with a man in his 30’s working as a cashier, I know it’s shallow but lack of ambition is such a turn off!

I get what you mean, I am very ambitious and a lack of ambition is a turn off for me. If, using your example, he is a cashier but he's also a mature student studying for a career change, or he has plans to open his own business / runs his own business and this is just a job for the security of regular income, or he has plans on how he's going to work his way up the supermarket etc etc then yes, then it wouldn't bother me. If he's a cashier, and that's all he planned to do then I think it would bother me.

I'd add guys that work in bars and clubs as a career. That's a job you do when you're deciding what to do with your life. TThey always think they're so cool too

Same, especially if he expects to lean on me for financial support. I wouldn't mind helping out every once in a while but not regularly.

Many years ago when I worked at a supermarket as a student there was one guy who was in his 30s and had worked there for at least 10 years. His girlfriend had a really good job with a nice company car and didn't seem to mind that her boyfriend was a bit lazy with no ambition. I guess it works for some couples...

Adding to this… men who idolise Elon Musk and defend him from any criticism/say he is a genius. Do they think he is going to pick them to fly on his wee spaceship to Mars? Ultimate ick
So true. And they always speak with such confidence as though supporting Elon Musk makes them billionaires by extension. 😂 Take your little blue checkmark and stick it.

My ex would only eat puff type crisps (I call them kids crisps), monster munch, chipsticks, skips… because he has bad teeth and is scared they might fall out with anything crunchy 🤣 but worse… would always lick all the flavour off them first, then sit licking his finger and wiping the packet to get every tasty crumb 🫣🤮 it drove me MAD!!!
So not sure if the ick should be the crisps, or the terrible teeth!

Jeez, his teeth were so bad he thought they couldn’t handle a crisp?!

I came home one day and my ex had clogged up the plug hole because he had shaved himself top to toe for our holibobs 🤢

I know I sound like a snob but I couldn’t go out with someone who worked in a shop or similar. I couldn’t actually bring myself to introduce him to people like, ‘Hi Mum, this is Dave, he’s 40, works in B&M.’ Just couldn’t do it.
