Regarding your second ick, that reminds me of a couple that I keep seeing on Facebook videos called Sarah and Carlo. She's American and she's Italian. Their content is always based on her deliberately 'insulting' his Italian heritage (eg by snapping spaghetti in half before cooking it).

The videos are so obviously faked and staged with him pretending to be offended, while accentuating his Italian accent and saying how things are meant to be done in Italy. It's so cringe and icky, but if you look at the comments everyone seems blissfully unaware of the fakeness and coo over how cute and sweet the videos are. I can't stand it.

I've seen some of those videos. The guy drives me nuts. I don't give a duck how it's done in Italy so sit down and eat your air fried knocchi

Haha yeah he's more annoying than she is. "What are you doing, my love??!!"

He chose to move to America so why would he have a coronary every time she did something slightly un-Italian? It makes no sense.

But the comments are always along the lines of: "Aw they're so cute and funny! Love how he calls her 'my love'. " I just want to point out how it's all staged for clicks/money, but I'd probably get piled on.

A Kit Kat Chunky is far more acceptable than a normal Kit Kat.
