I know this predominantly about things men do that give us the ick, but I looked at my friend’s Instagram last night and it was literally ALL selfies, hundreds of them all nearly identical 😂 I got the friend ick
A woman I work with is like that, she won't post anything on her insta except selfies. Weird if you ask me 😅

Those electric scooters that people stand on and ride.

Moronic ick.

Being sat in a queue of traffic behind someone who is driving while wearing a coat with a furry hood or collar gives me the irrational ick.

Men that aren't tall enough for the sun visor in the car 😭. The sun was really low this morning and I walked past a man stretching his neck as long as he could to try and shield his eyes whilst driving

Men who drive electric cars. Men who can’t reverse trailers. Men who can’t parallel park.

A woman from my slimming group has gone from constant night out pictures to constant gym selfies in the most ill fitting clothes, it’s always a pout and peace signs with her gym buddy and some nonsense google quote that Oliver Wilde never ever said. It’s ick! She was much funnier when she was drunk all the time. Have pornstar martini and try and rake back your personality!

Men with moustaches, im sorry but the Ned Flanders look isn’t sexy at all. Combine that look with a mullet and I’m ready for a life in a convent

I have to set the scene with his image first. Massive head. Massive belly that over hangs the trousers and tiny skinny legs. Wearing brown shoes without socks, short trousers and a tucked in shirt. With a smug smarmy face.
He was standing with his daughter at this mornings school drop off and said to her, she's 7, "I'm going into LONDON today. Yep LONDON. I'm going to be in THE GHERKIN IN LONDON, isnt that cool. I'll be home tomorrow. When I get home from LONDON AND THE GHERKIN I want a big cuddle. Be good for mummy while I'm away in LONDON." She didn't say a word. He kept looking around to see if anyone was listening. Obviously I was because I was behind him but I was looking and listening with pure icky disgust. No one gives a tit mate. Ick ick ick.
In one of the Adrian Mole books, Adrian's half brother Brett returns to Ashby de la Zouch from London after losing everything in the 2008 recession. He's deeply unhappy about it and shouts about "having to live in the bleeping East Midlands with provincial doltheads". Adrian's mother shouts back, "I'm not provincial! I went to London three times last year!"

I laugh every time I even think of that line. I don't even know why it's so funny but it is. "I'm not provincial! I went to London three times last year!"

Sue Townsend was such an underrated writer. The diaries she wrote of the young Margaret Thatcher were brilliant. ‘Woke up at 5am for a delicious 2 hours of quadratic equations before helping father water down the milk for the shop’.

She was absolutely brilliant, I still have all my Adrian Mole books. The tv series was great, too, especially when Julie Walters was playing his mum. The books are truly their own world, though.
I enjoyed Queen Camilla as well. (Charles: " How dare you call my wife a woman!") I'll have to look for the Margaret Thatcher book!
