Urgh I live in NZ but my husband is British and yesterday he tried to say he had a 'cheeky British wit' about him. I had to leave the room and told him to never, ever say that again

Men who describe themselves as a 'cheeky chappie'.
Example: Shane Ritchie. Who also gives me the ick.

This might be a bit niche but toddlers who pose in photos doing the peace sign ✌ I have friends who seem to do it as their default (cringe) and now their TODDLER is copying (double cringe).

I wish I could share an example to prove it's an ick 😆

Once at my old job, a colleague I was emailing made a mistake and sent me a response saying, “sorry, I made a boo-boo”. He was a fully grown man.

Those massive tarantula-like fake eyelashes and the wearer can hardly open their eyes for the weight of them gives me the ick.

People who leave their rubbish in the cinema and don’t take it out to put it in the bins which are right outside the door to each screen.

Usually a lurker but this one gave me HIGE ick today. Man in a shopping centre with wife and three children, a baby in a pram, toddler and roughly 6 year old. Mum is struggling with the baby crying and toddler fussing and juggling bags and the pram. Man having a loud "I'm an important business man but I'm still VERY down to earth, we're all mates here" conversation on his mobile ("yeah Clive if you could get those on my desk by C O P that'd be BLINDING, don't want to hassle you mate but I've got a lot riding on that one..." etc etc). Ends call, older daughter asks if they're going to a certain shop now. "Yeah yeah darlin we are, sorry I was just on the phone, Daddy has to make all the money so his queen and his little princesses can SPEND it!"
I rolled my eyes and fairly sure I felt the rest of the population do it along with me.
He’ll be the one in the office always loudly bragging about being a family man and how little sleep he got due to the kids, whilst leaving his wife to do it all. (Generally also the one knocking off Sandra from accounts)

the way the women in adverts eat yogurt tho...

it gives male-writer-writes-about-a-woman-eating-yogurt. you know the spoon is always flipped and they're laughing for no reason View attachment 2796196View attachment 2796199View attachment 2796198
Jack Monroe also tried this look. I always think this photo looks like it’s in an exposee in the News of the World. Like she’s married to a Tory councillor and has been sending saucy messages to the Lib Dem candidate.
