My daughter has spent several weeks in hospital for various reasons - it’s not CONTENT. These women treat their children’s lives as a tool for engagement with strangers and businesses. It’s actually disgusting.

Thank you - she’s fine. But my husband and I are quite private and both felt odd even telling our friends and colleagues. It’s like deflected sympathy- everyone replying with all their kind words and support. But we’re fine - it’s our daughter who is ill. But I think Becky genuinely enjoys that deflected sympathy and sucks it all up “oh I’m such an amazing having it all mum, look how well I manage my sons broken arm - I’m so strong, I’m so inspirational”
She’s delusional I’m afraid like so many. It’s so funny how social media can make people feel like these ‘influencers’ are their friends. They aren't friends, they are business woman, peddling lifestyles that don’t really exist. They want audiences to inflate their already huge egos and line their deeply filled pockets. My husbands close friends are all self-made multi millionaires. However, the difference is they are private and humble. They don’t boast, brag and shout about what they have. They are kind and give to others (charities). They are also not greedy. THB exposes herself to public scrutiny because SHE needs the attention and validation. She says she is a successful businesswoman, so why does she have to ask for freebies on Twitter? She’s not short of money and lives a privileged lifestyle, so why beg for stuff? Why not concentrate on your business and it’s social media content. I think Insta becomes like an addiction for some, those seeking adoration, validation, reassurance, sympathy, and comments that won’t criticise her. I read (see attached) that sad posts share well on insta, which means you gain more engagement because you are more relatable. There is always psychology involved. That’s more than likely why nothing is private with her. At the end of the day it’s all down to good old fashioned algorithms and getting your numbers out. Who cares about authenticity these days?

if you take a look at previous threads from @CurrentBun - this person said they knew them and first mentioned the expenses thing. This is the problem with putting it out there so publicly, some of your circle of friends or associates then start talking and then it doesn’t just become about you, but also your family. Being so public can have consequences which as celebs only know too well. You never know who is watching your account - it could be your husbands’ bosses’ wife... it could be a business associate. People talk - fact. You have to be so careful with social media. The problem with THB is that her words don’t match her actions. I don’t know her, but can see how she misleads people on insta. The whole pretence that she’s sharing products for the greater good. Showing off her very expensive gifted garden furniture , when behind the scenes on Twitter she has requested some of these items for free. True colours always show through eventually. Glad I don’t have these type of stresses in my life! It would make me a nervous wreck.
I personally think she’s a very unwell, and delusional woman, who exhibits these feelings of grandeur. The woman is sick. Yet I don’t feel sorry for her.
I hope their expenses scandal does get investigated. They need bringing down a peg or two!
I saw the message posted last night before it was deleted. And I wasn't surprised at all. I totally agree with rosiepie. People are watching and with all of the bragging and boasting, people want to take them down a peg or two. If he has been fiddling expenses he should get everything that is coming his way. How disgusting, to already have so much and to want more. I couldn't sleep doing that knowing that my whole life could come crashing down around me if I was found out. What if he gets fired? Who else would employ him? What a complete and utter twit.
THB must be freaking the hell out. Has he been suspended?
I hope he is found guilty.
