I’d never considered this before, but quite seriously, maybe?

I was thinking more the battering your physical and mental well-being takes after stillbirth. It can be difficult to pull off effortless and stylish when you are still grieving.
Yeah, the end of the twin pregnancy and the mishandling of it by the hospital must have been godawful and I hope she is getting lots of help to process it all.

I don’t particularly care though if she is/isn’t, or expect her to be stylish, she’s got a young family and is moving on to other stuff. It’s the weird shopping habits and the obsessive trying to be frugal when they clearly have money that is so annoying. And yes, better posture when posing if you’re still going to try and style, is always a good start!

Looks like Peggy is at an independent prep if she’s taking her into Central London this week, as state schools haven’t broken up.

Well FINALLY someone has taken inspiration from her 'wrap two old candles in ribbon and give as a gift' idea. @rvkloves (whos famously tight) is giving then as nursery teacher gifts.

I don’t think that’s proof, as they could have gone after school, and I know it gets dark early obviously but it was dark in the outside pic of the cafe.
(I think it’s likely P is at private school, I just think we need better evidence! And the stories were posted at 9pm)

Best comment I’ve seen on here. It truly is nauseating

At some point someone will end up here who will confirm one way or other if it’s private or state.

That’s the thing with being an influencer - you may try to keep things off grid, but in real life there will be friends, friends of friends, acquaintances etc who will be willing to gossip about things that you’d prefer to keep quiet. I’ve seen this on other threads on Tattle.

She watched a lot of tv for sure. I don’t even have kids, I don’t even know how she has so much time to watch tv

I liked the charity shop reel, brief and low-effort as it was. Loads of great gift gems found there, especially books.

Gobsmacked by those outfits, though! I think I could put together something better than that, and I'm scruffy as owt. It was the slumped in the corner, serial killer glasses, brown-and-pink that did it for me. What on earth is she thinking?!

I think most people can sympathise hugely with the shit she’s gone through. That’s going to do a number on anyone mentally, plus the physical aspect of having a baby, then a still birth, then another baby. Her body and mind would understandably be still processing everything that’s happened.

I get so angry that women go through so much and then have to live up to so many huge expectations. Putting on a brave face after losing your babies, then just carrying on etc. Having to look ‘nice’ for people. Trying to look like you’ve got your shit together when your life is falling apart. Alex might be going through it but she’s also sure as shit contributing to the shocking standards women are expected to live up to. How many women has she made to feel they should have her nice house, nice clothes etc. She’s been SO sly about how she actually got her wealth. She made a living pressuring her followers to buy this shit, posting aff links, constantly selling stuff to her (mainly women) followers, many of whom will also have small kids and probs feel the pressure to keep up with buying this stuff. She needs to take a step back and see that she’s part of this problem.

Exactly. What makes Alex’s selling worse is that she has created a whole pretence about their financial position which is gaslighting women into thinking they are somehow inferior as they can’t seem to match their lifestyle.

She pretends to a specific female audience (30’s, just back from mat leave) that by shopping in Aldi you can afford expensive renovations and multiple holidays.

So many women left feeling inadequate, in a period of life that is so hard, in which those treats and luxuries are few and far between despite working hard. All your money goes on childcare and bills.

She must really have no interests, take no exercise, do no cleaning, little socialising etc. Even before kids, with a full time job I couldn’t manage that much TV!

That’s a really good point actually, if you remove the ‘work’ from the equation then she never mentions seeing friends, going to the gym or anything other than mooching with her husband. I assume she has a cleaner?

I just don’t get this look at all. I mean, her bio says “approachable style” but what is this exactly? And more importantly, what is she carting around in all those tote bags?!
