She’s definitely posted this pic before cos I remember writing a comment about it - it must have been on her stories? Surely these people will have DMed and she ignored it?

My baby is a few months older but:
* choking risk from dolls house small bits
* risk of baby pulling themselves up on shelf and managing to fall from cot, books fall, shelf falls
* risk with the metal wire name - poking, choking
* risk with the glass frames coming down or a baby slapping them and smashing the glass
* cot bumper is an absolute death trap
* having all this shit around the room doesn’t signal / validate to the older child that baby can’t have anything in with them. So what’s stopping the older child leaving a “toy” or something else that poses a risk?

I can’t understand it. I cannot understand how you could leave your baby in that bed, and not only that but proudly Instagram it? Miscarrying twins is absolutely heart breaking but a very different issue and loss to endangering your full term healthy baby for aesthetics.

Once again with this crowd - can you imagine if this was a working class mum with a load of Hinch grey velvet B&M bargains clogging up a cot? They’d be in the fucking Sun.

Imagine the holy drama if either of them had a proper job, with proper set hours and proper demands. They’re just kids playing at being adults, inexplicably bitter and resentful that the career they’ve chosen does occasionally require some effort. They have NO IDEA of their privilege.

I have always found her selfie-stories where she walks down the street smiling silently into the camera really odd... She never speaks, just stares down the lense and occasionally gives us a glimpse of what she is wearing.
Also those glasses are so unflattering!

Come on guys let's not be harsh. She was packing overpriced boxes of matches with a shell picture that Peggy drew on the front, into other cardboard boxes and taking them down to the post office. Easily a 60 hour working week right there.

My first visit to this thread to ask one simple question - Is she ever not fucking painting? 😴

You know what the most annoying thing about wearing glasses is? When you don’t get them #gifted and they cost a fucking fortune!

She didn't show that 2 storey extension as it cost ££££s makes sense as to why it took so long! I mean I'd be pissed if I donated to her 'keep my shitty blog' going fund to know she just paid for a 2 storey house extension and £150 sandles she really does live in another world.

I’ll stop wondering what her husband does when Alex stops making subtle digs about resenting her financial position and being “forced” to return from maternity leave.

Also, she’s an influencer - she’s made the decision to sell her family for advertising dollars. See today, using her baby to advertise nappies. If you don’t like the questions, perhaps have a long hard think about the career you’ve chosen?

Ditto. We are also much better off but it’s a very particular niche of privilege to spend £40 on ONE MUG and not realise it.

She is so resentful of being the breadwinner & being less flush than her family and school friends. Her husband sounds like a bit of a dead weight, it’s very unclear what he does all day with Peggy in nursery. Certainly not painting the fence apparently🙈

Her other problem is that she cuts corners on the things that matter (her kitchen, her family’s diet) yet blows cash on the trivialities.
Maybe she should rename the blog/account 'The Trivialities', as it's certainly not frugal....

Using her loosing the twins in that response is wrong, there will be people that weren't following her so might think they died in an accident from that comment. The sooner 'influencers' become proper regulated like media the better, I know this wasn't a sponsored post, she just can't handle any negative comments maybe it's time to find a proper job. None of it is valuable or interesting content, and she sounds vile! Stop wasting your money on shit Alex and see an ENT specialist!

She is SO TEDIOUS. And yet I encourage the tedium by following her. BUT I CANT STOP WATCHING. Never mind that I have a team
of 50 to manage, 10hrs OF Zoom calls to get through and 3 children to organise. I must just quickly check in on alex and get her advice on making a cheesy bean bake. WHYYYYYYYYY.

Uggggh. I’m sorry, but bragging about a $1.50 veggie box when you’ve just bought $155 sandals is pretty gross #povertyporn

Perhaps leave them for people really in dire straits or buy a couple extra and donate

she is so fu*king rude! This person was giving her some nice advice about keeping the tulips looking nicer for longer and she just jumps down her throat!

What about the Lidl veg box for £1.99 (literally and specifically designed for people on a low income to access fresh food) directly underneath the post about the Selfridges garden centre? Quite distasteful....

I accept the principle of being able to charge for content. But the reality is that presumably like a lot of people I read & watch a lot of stuff online that I wouldn’t read or watch if I had to pay for it. Alex’s content is that for me, I don’t want it badly enough to pay for it. In the current market there’s tons of good free material including magazine articles. Alex is at pains to point out that people get her content for free, if she charges for it, people have tons of alternatives. That’s the market in which she operates.

She also seems to do a ton of shopping nowadays? I don’t count myself as frugal at all and I haven’t actually bought anything for ages. They seem to be in a shop every day. Is she just bored?
It’s all a bit depressing isn’t it. An endless loop of what she doesn’t have/can’t afford and what she’s just bought, might buy, wants us to buy.

And here we have yet another self obsessed influencer telling us how special and brave they are by having their jab because it’s not like the entire fucking country is doing the exact same thing. ‘For those concerned about my over sized shirt, it was ok, I was in a cubicle. I’ve booked a sick day off for tomorrow’. NO-ONE 👏🏻 GIVES 👏🏻 A 👏🏻 SHIT 👏🏻
A sick day from what? Painting the fence?
