What’s their obsession with middle class mums who take coke?? They’ve done loads of those articles over the years
I was wondering the same, it is literally daily articles about this.

Also mums who like wine.

They never bang on about blokes who are habitatual drug users/drinkers, it's only ever women they obsess over with these subjects.

They can't seem to say her name without instantly mentioning the 30k honeymoon and the caravan.

I don't get the fuss. Rich people gonna rich, travellers gonna live in caravans if they want to go that traditional route. Who cares, it's not groundbreaking in any sense???

Is Kat Farmer really the best they can do for a new columnist? She's mentioned that bloody 'dishwasher divorce' in everything she's written so far, yawn. Why she is acting like being a 'walkaway wife' is in any way revolutionary to me is a mystery. It's not 1960 any more, you're fine.

It will never happen because the media industry is as elitist as it gets but it would be a breath of fresh air for columnists to be... not painfully middle class once in a while.

They'll never employ anyone working class although Julie Burchill has written an article about becoming confined to s wheelchair. She was working class in your youth.

With most newspaper articles these days I skim them and read the comments section instead to gauge public opinion. One thing I've noticed recently is the the Daily Mirror are more out of step with their readers than even the Mail. The Mail readers don't care about mats like Kat Farmer and bloody Liz Jones.

The Mirror attacks Nigel Farage at every opportunity believing that all their readers are Labour supporters but the comments these days say otherwise which is interesting.

My late grandfather was Labour - old school Labour where it was very much all about worker rights - and he would read the Mirror but it's a very different publication from those days.

I avoid their website as best I can as I find they out do even the Mail for extremely graphic, upsetting headlines that they revel in like flies on tit. I remember being shocked when I first saw the online version a few years back, it seemed all about trying to get the nastiest things they could on their site.

The Mail can be bad for this too but they still have some traces of good journalism. Granted, not much now. The loss of Dame Jenni Murray is felt heavily. If you persevere though you can find subjects to read nowhere else will cover because of their biases. I'd rather not give the Fail clicks but despite how awful it can be it is still one of the better sources for regularly updated news.

Yes it's interesting how things have changed. The Mail always used to be the newspaper for middle class conservatives and The Mirror was for working class labour. Since Labour abandoned the working class and became the party of middle class activists their natural home is now The Guardian. The Daily Mirror is floundering now because their demographic doesn't support their editorial. It's worth taking a look at the comments section to see how infuriated their readers are.

The Guardian has to be the most miserable one of the lot in its own way. I don't think you'll ever find a more po face collection of writers in one place! Even their theatre critic is really off-putting because she acts like she resents having her job, there is no sense of joy in her reviews unless it's something where she feels the show is 'sticking it to the man' in some way.

But mostly they are even more out of touch than the Mail. There was a woman once who wrote all about this amazing thing she was doing and how easy it was... but she had an allowance from her husband and owned some land. Yeah, soooo relatable. :ROFLMAO::rolleyes:

The daily mail piled on the hate on 12 and 14 year old girls blaming them last year and painting the guy with an insta account full of gangster stuff and talking of wh*res as an innocent victim. They ruin lives and have no regard for the truth. They're sick.

Now the real story has come out

Why are they acting as mouthpiece for the Beckhams and publishing their vile attacks against their son?

I'm not a fan of the Beckhams or their equally self absorbed whining nepo baby son. I'd rather not have updates about any of them or their stupid feud when there's more important things going on in the world. Who bleeping cares 😴

Their leading story is about a woman losing her luggage before she's due to go and watch the footie.

It's actually managing to get even worse as far as already being a trash rag goes.

Trash rag you say?
I think this is probably the most disgusting headline they’ve ever published. And that’s saying something.

I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw that earlier. “Romping” - a word straight out of a kiss and tell in The Sun 30 years ago - applied to a father raping his daughter? That would have been approved on multiple levels before it was published. Absolutely foul beyond words.

Of all the lows the Fail have reached over the years, they've managed to go even lower than you'd think possible. I'm really trying to wean myself off this rag, I don't want to give such vile people as these writers the attention/money. It's a horrendous piece of trash.
