Credit where it's due the headline "Look mum, no friends" about the UK Eurovision entry just raised a mild LOL.
What criteria does the Mail use when putting articles under pay walls? I've been trying to work it out.
I understand it for opinion columns written by someone like Boris Johnson as they've got to pay him a whack or he wouldn't bother writing for them. They also seem to do it for random health articles but also some articles which I would consider general news stories.

They seem to do it for scare stories about health, ‘this was the one common symptom I ignored which meant I had terminal cancer’ and also their ‘this one common ingredient in most people’s cupboards could help prevent X disease’
Also follow up stories to main ones about celebrities, like today’s article about Tess Daly seething about the divorce, despite the fact they have a non paid for article showing her and Vernon out at the weekend together.

Is it me or are Fail's headlines so convoluted and unreadable these days? I often have to read a headline multipile times and sometimes I still don't quite grasp what they are trying to say.

Its not just the Mail as clickbait headlines are everywhere. It's really annoying when the content of an artilcle tells you nothing and doesnt deliver what was promised. Mainstream journalism is dying out, less staff and AI written content.
