I’m happy for you to keep it for the time being. It’s ‘helping’ me first thing!
Hello! It’s now a beautiful morning in my part of the world. For those of you who need a little “bowel assistance” to start the day, please observe. Otherwise…keep scrolling!!! Trigger alert!

Good catch.
Both Nati's office and bed will be in the same tiny space, with a tiny kitchen to cover it all with cooking smells. Do they really expect her to live and work in that space? Could she not have a heated office within the chateau itself?

1) I watched without my glasses - so everything is just slightly off-kilter! But fits with the general LaLa ambience

2) YES! Amaury has years of proper, professional trade experience of sourcing materials. And has proper French! Plus that voice would seduce anyone into anything!

3) A new boiler - great, at last! Let's just sit back and watch it blow out all the old radiators...

Those frikking allergies! How on earth did he manage to acquire so many? He slips them in so very often, as if we should be deeply interested. Did his family over-focus on his childhood fragilities? Was he seriously poorly as a child? Seems like a list of his few safe edibles could fit on the back of a postage stamp... Usually children grow out of most intolerances. Perhaps he's still in that phase....

Good grief! Has the flat been empty throughout the bug? Ugghhh.

Have to say that I like Tatty's calm, measured way. She just gets on with things, doesn't get sucked into Steffie's scatty and cacophonous over-excitement. And she has Serious Skills.

I don't believe a minute that they freeze there at all, why bother with closing shutters or curtains when she just bought a couple of fancy Dyson heaters?

Do you think Naty from Argentina can be bothered lightning a wood stove? Every single day during winter? Going out every day, fetching the logs, chopping it even small, making some kindling herself? And having to clean out the firebox and carry the ashes across the courtyard to the compost ( and removing the planks from Slymars gigantic compost) ?
Sure, she could always ask Phil to do it.... He would open wide his eyes, look astound for a sec, but then quickly recover and say: my pleasure, if you could just show me how to do it?

All her clothes would get dirty. It's much more decorative to throw a shawl over her and have a quick run in her robe to the kitchen where Amaury can warm her up.

They heat with electricity, that's it. Convenient and fast, pushing aside the costs since the bill comes much later.

To be fair it’s a bit of an inconvenience if you die just being polite because you don’t want to bring up your allergies.
Tatyanna gives me Megan Markle vibes . She’s shifty.
Her and Salmar will be off soon . I get the feeling he’s had it with the place

Haha, she is maybe a bit like me with my in-laws: cooking a couple of fantastic meals just to show she can, getting all the praise, then to do it never again..... Yeah, I do sometimes have a mean passive aggressive side, but only to people who deserve it.

Hi, I’m Summer

Yes, Summer is my given name. I love the summertime, but I really love Autumn best.

I love creating beautiful portraits.

I love spending as much time as possible on my yoga mat & in quiet meditation.

I love my husband & our cats.

I love bubbly water & champagne.

I love telling stories & exploring history.

Basically, I love all the things. Seven years ago, I left my career as a marketing director in the beauty industry to start my portrait photography business. It wasn’t a decision I made on a whim. I had actually been quite sick for some time with various chronic ailments and I was hopeful that a career change would improve my stress levels. You have no idea how stressful naming lipsticks for a billion dollar brand actually is, the struggle is real my friends. Fortunately, my hopes were fulfilled. I have loved every minute of creating my business and am excited to work toward its continued evolution as I incorporate my loves of writing and yoga (including my upcoming teacher accreditation) into my offerings. Thank you for stopping by, and please do take a look around and come back often for updates.

Travel Dates
I am based in NYC. Pre-pandemic I traveled frequently for sessions, especially to Southern California and Boston. Obviously, I haven’t been able to travel for a while, but I am hoping that can change soon. I miss your faces!
I currently have no upcoming travel sessions planned. Make sure to sign up for my newsletter below to receive updates.

Have to agree with you there. She's got her own plans. Will probably stay Chez LaLa just long enough to establish her own new brand in the Shattoeverse. Though I do appreciate her calm, measured way and that she doesn't allow Steffers to drag her into all the over-excitement and drama.

Question #7779!
Does anyone have a synopsis of SJ's Patreon video???
Wondering what spin she put on the broken Boiler/ radiator debacle?
Isn't that just centuries of British inbreeding, I think Br
It's not black and white, they facilitate a need, I've bought through them and the research they did for each item I bought was credible/sound and they were a good sounding board in terms of evaluations and providing information on areas I was less knowledgable. I also inspected the items I bought, evaluated their provenance and did my own research. Much like anything it's buyer beware, and if you're spending upwards of 100K on an armoire you're probably also in a position where you have professionals look at your purchase before you buy it, or be educated enough to make your own evaluation or on the other hand have way too much money to care about its authenticity. The antique, art and artefact market is very broad and auction houses normally have a fairly skeleton staff that need to churn through an inventory even if its not necessarily their specialisation, they are not necessarily academic or museum experts on each item/area they need to catalogue. But hey, SJ doesn't need to bear the heavy burden of dealing with auction houses, she's cramming every inch of that Shittoo with tacky emmaüs refuse ......

It is the Shittoo where crappy antiques go to die .........

The more vlogs she does on other Chateau's that have been renovated also highlights the deficiencies of her own ......

( She needs to clean that sofa, I saw one like that sitting on the the street curb the other day, maybe its the same one ...... )
