Just watched today's episode of CD and I have to say I kind of felt sorry for Selmar. It looked to me that he had a surprised expression on his face, as if someone hadn't bothered to tell him that his workshop was being appropriated by the Golden Man Bun. I'm guessing this was essentially him receiving his walking papers. Now the downstairs loo will never be finished!

I will also speculate that Amaury will not only be doing the paneling in the Grand Salon (and Nutti too), but will ultimately become the Chief Project Manager of all renovations, restorations while Her Maj jetsets around the world.

As for Snorts, I know many of you are convinced he is her lover, but I really think you have the wrong end of the stick. That boy is as gay as a daisy! If anything, the two of them are more inclined to play dress-up in SJ's gowns than to play hide the purple parsnip.

I would like to thank the Academy, my mum, @MojoDublin, and all fellow tattlers especially the undercover ones, all who inspired me to come up with 1000+ posts
furthermore, I would like to thank the fallen tattlers, you fought for us and for the truth, you stay in our memory forever, you carved the way for many others who came after you to take the torch and shed the light on all the shady, toxic and sometimes illegal dealings of our dear Shitolaine and her entourage

@Bored Mermaid CC You were spot on in the previous thread. Remember the newest glamping site close to SJ's HMN that she showed in her flogs when it was first opened in Spring? They also provide parking for camper vans like Selmar's. I reported earlier that their season so far has been a huge disaster with no income whatsoever. My ears have recently made me aware that the owners of this site have officially launched a complaint with the mayor of Crozon sur Vauvre against SJ for offering a permanent parking spot for Selmar's van without having the proper permissions or paperwork. I doubt the mayor will take serious action against SJ because of the interests they share, but as the complaint was made in writing it can not be completely ignored. My guess is that a sudden exemption from usual rules will magically appear to nip this thing in the bud, but it certainly clarifies the dependent position in which Selmar finds himself. This kind of bad blood will not please the locals either...

After that embarrassing so-called clean-up, 16 years 😱 and they finally managed to open the door, I would have been mortified, but hey ho, it's all love and laughter 😡. Not.
The only way to get any kind of order out of that utter chaos is for Fanny to be far far away for at least 6 months, leaving those with any ability to get things done. Let Dan and Kirsty work on only the gardens. Let Ann Marie and Cat sort out the clutter and junk that is just everywhere. SS should just go, he's as useful as a chocolate teapot. Selmar and Tatiana should quietly disappear and chase their rainbow. Natti can finally do something productive, hopefully. And scary IJ should stay far away too.

You just reminded me out of the blue of an older lady I was next to in a yoga class in Massachusetts. Hearing that I wasn't a local, and apropos of nothing, she regaled me with an incongruous, unsolicited tale of how she'd got seasick sailing off the Cape recently. She made sure to let me know her august lineage by saying that her friend had commented, "But, Marjorie, how can you get seasick when your family came over in the Mayflower?"

I forbore to whip out my Debretts and trump her gauche, snobbish, self-elevation attempt with my 1,800 years of blue-blooded genes.
As you so rightly intimate, it's character that matters, it's how you treat others that really counts. Not how you exploited good people and your entitled ancestors' name to acquire money/power/fame.

Certain circles in English society particularly are still intensely snobbish (watch 'Lady C' in full flight...it's quite sickening IMHO. ).
Besides it's ludicrous - the genealogists tell us that a large ajority heritage Brits and thus many Americans of UK origin are descended from King Edward III, though most have lost the paperwork over the generations.
(PS I'm proud to say that I can count ag. labs. (agricultural labourers) and an actual washerwoman amongst my ancestors on the other side.

Yes, though I think he's on his way out in any case.
The two bigger issues for me here are the glamper proprietors' tell-tale nastiness and the growing encroachment on the rights of property owners to do what they want on their land.

So, Steffie has ONE small RV on her 60-odd acres...how does that materially affect the glamper people? It's not taking any business away from them. If they could get Selmar to park on their land for a weekly rent, they would.

Their complaint only makes them look petty and mean. IMHO.
I looked at their website a few weeks ago, before this news. I thought that it might be an interesting, peaceful place to spend a few days when all's safe again. Now, I wouldn't even go near it with a disinfected bargepole!

And the other thing is that it's just a little RV of a friend who helps with household jobs, and tucked well away out of sight. It's not bothering anyone at all in practical terms. What business is it of any arm of gvt?

Please don't think that I'm Steff-fending! Perish the thought!
Just that there are bigger, more important principles of freedom and good manners at play here, as far as I'm concerned.
Selmar is an employee, not a friend. Would that make a difference?
Do you think Selmar's passivity is the result of mistreatment?
Did he go on strike after all the bullying? Was she already torturing him before he stopped working?
I think Selmar fell head over heels for Stephanie, but was "punching above his weight ", as we say in the UK. When he realised she wasn't interested and started her friendship with a younger man disillusion set in. You could see the anger and pain in his face during the blogs when Philip first arrived. Selmar was so jealous of the younger man. He couldn't believe it. He started going away at this point.
He's stayed at the chateau because it's an easy parkup for his van, he gets meals, alcohol, parties, in exchange for some work. (He's no longer doing much work). He's an old hippy looking for somewhere good to crash and has fallen on his feet. He needs to be moved on. I suspect Stephanie is too afraid to confront him directly. Matt and Dan tried to deal with it in a crude way, with the rough bantering about where his van should go. I think Selmar has some difficulties as he didn't take the hint. He needs to be moved on now. I'm not Steph fending, but I would want him out too. I've lived in communal settings and I've seen these "very sweet, good with animals, spiritual guru" types, who don't contribute much to the community but just hang around, taking not giving. I would applaud Stephanie if she just told him to leave. Her sort of setup will attract hangers on. Sorry, I think Selmar is good at heart, but he needs to go. He's done well out of the chateau, free lodgings for little work, got his face on YouTube, got his own vlogs, got a new girlfriend. Just go now Selmar, while you've still got dignity and good luck to you and Tatty.

Morning all! New thread - congrats to @sandro37 and thanks to @MojoDublin for setting this all up - I had a bit of catch up but jumped into the vlogs.

Fanny of the Dust of A Thousand GAG Items being hauled out of Anne Marie's workshop was already on FF for me - what a blessing. What a mess. Bags of wool past missed by felters of decades past, are tossed aside. Filly got his key stuck in the door. Idiotic chateau inmates played with pea chicks - to drop them in a wall garden for a bird of prey to fly in and eat them. Get these creatures a proper enclosure and stop showing them affection in squeals. It is like a petting zoo. Marie at the end reveals the time line flaw with flannel fanny. This vlog was all about opening doors and locking some. Leftovers for dinner again. Seems the last shopping buy didn't get far. - Never mind there are some wasp berries in the garden - and nettles. AS.......

Sillymar
showed us. He was more interesting for only showing how badly his planter boxes have failed in one summer - sad produce beds - lumped in manure, black plastic held down by rubbish to stop rampant weeds. Empty arches - Pergola looks hideous - just a hot mess of nothing. Vlog ended with slow tango. Appropriate for that place - everything is going at a funeral march pace. Plenty of farwell flowers everywhere.

Checked the Aga Khans vlog to see comments only - who knew so many people loved a stove clean up. Meanwhile Sadie the clean up lady is nowhere to be found - probably still stuck in the largest antique market in the world

No job Ryan has become the employment police in Phuket. Dropping his girlfriend to WORK - he laments the issues of tourism in Thailand, eats fried rice from his balcony. Still has shopping issues - can not find the 7/11.

Success Stories took a leap forward with dropping its host FRK - Mackie is back in town - control, and manages a better vlog.

That is it for now - and frankly that was too much for me! Off into the day x

Quite agree, and we have had many deaths in SA from the double jab. Keep Betadine at hand ( provodone iodine ) dilute and gargle and swab inside the nose - trials have shown it to successfully kill virus etc., Also if you can keep some IVERMECTIN handy. Check out FLCCC website for dosages etc.,
Right....I'm not one to report posts but this BS really warranted it. Ivermectin is a HORSE DEWORMER and only a true idiot would dose themselves with it. Betadine is an EXTERNAL antiseptic. For use primarily on skin prior to surgical incision.
You are knowingly spreading misinformation and potentially hazardous info. Stop being stupid.

Tattlers beware: FRK has methods and means to sort out anyone and I mean anyone who dares to have criticised her florals.

Did they actually bin the old wool? It would have been an excellent addition to the compost bins, around the base of fruit trees as mulch or buried in the garden beds.
A tip for any vegetable growers out there. Sheep's fleece or separated fluffed out wool is great for deterring slugs and snails. Put small amounts round the base of vulnerable plants like climbing beans, sunflowers. Slugs and snails can't bear dry, scratchy material on their bellies and avoid it like the plague. It rots down into the soil too. I have used it for years. I never get slug damage.

This is what I don't understand, they are doing exactly the same thing as MPK & SJ but some people have no problem with it but SJ & MPK are criticised for it.
Excellent point. I think a lot of us here are so outraged and appalled by SJ's shenanigans, we tend to not see those qualities when they are better hidden, like with the Fleuries or Dan. The amount of money they beg for pales in comparison to SJ though, who begged at exactly the right time to wheel in the jackpot and has since perfected the game so she keeps growing, not so much in audience but in patreon capitol. At first I could not get my head around why she's sharing her secrets with her competitors, but I guess she figures it's a less punishable crime when they all do it? She remains the biggest swindler of them all though, no matter how you look at it.

Exactly, our knowledgable tattlers gave Dan and SJ idea's instead of wasting

Btw her fathers chair. For god sake woman just throw it out! You already have your dads paintings, shit loads of furniture you bought with him, and even more memories. Do you really need a ugly 80's office chair which falls apart?
If that ratty chair meant anything to SJ then why did she leave it out there to rot in the first place???? That lazy pig didn't even remember or know it was out there. 😡 Give us a break! I wish she would dump BJJ out there and forget about HIM.!!

@Clara Burnett you mentioned the boys wanting to avoid "another clash". What was the first one? Or are you refering to the Marie situation.
No, the Frank/Ivo situation. When the homophobic volunteer attacked Frank and he demanded that volunteer should leave, the not so elusive N agreed they should have sent the volunteer away. He was outvoted by SJ and Potty, who backed up IJ's decision of sending Frank and Ivo away instead.

I thought that's what she was already doing, no jobs for Silly? He hasn't been seen working on anything really for months now.
I don't even remember Nichola Jane WhatsHerName so she must be a forgettable character.
He hasn’t finished the work from a year ago. Church pews sitting, no benches or picnic tables complete. They showed the sink for his loo laying in pile of junk they cleaned up. Once he flooded the house I think that was the last straw he now is costing her money and not helping. He blew it, Petheric blew it, FRK blew it and Snorty will fall. They are not workers but dreamers and don’t have the intelligence, personality or talent to be stars.

I forgot to mention. Are we still encouraging @Heathcliffe to achieve his status?
The initiations he will need to undertake are long and arduous.
1. We need a pot boy in the VIP lounge.
2. The Aston needs a good wax.
3. The reporting on vlogs has gone a bit lax of late, we need agents on the ground prepared to sift through the detritus.
4.He mentioned jogging, we need to time him against the French dogs.

I am sure others can suggest a few Herculean tasks in order to gain his status.

Now where did the keys go to the VIP lounge. We can't let Flip get hold of them, he may break a wrist trying all of the handles in there. 🤣

RE the bags of wool - did you hear Cat say
" from last.. " before SJ cut her off saying " years ago". I call BS. Hey Cara your precious wool in the attic has been thrown out.
From memory Cara lasted a week into a 3 week trip of a lifetime. Wonder how long the trademark specialist will last.

I do actually like Anne Marie. If as others have suggested he is there for the long haul project managing I think that it great. Things may get done. Which fund would he be paid from? And if between him and Natti the building is managed better in terms of cleanliness and fixes, that has to be a benefit.

And Nic is coming back. Interesting another owner is returning.

I'm counting down to my early retirement - 4 weeks to go!😁
Hubby retired a few years ago and has been keen for me to join him but I wasn't in any hurry to leave a job I love. Since Covid though, it's made me think that there is more to life than work and luckily we are in a position for me to be able to do that. My brother died suddenly at 51yrs and didn't get to enjoy his retirement so I'm planning on enjoying it for both of us. I will miss it (although I will continue as a governor and will also be involved with my favourite part of the job on a voluntary basis.) but now I look forward to holidays out of term time, spending time with the grandchildren and being able to pick them up from school occasionally, ( a fourth grandchild due next month) , time to spend on hobbies and plans to take watercolour and calligraphy classes. The way numbers of positive cases of Covid for children and staff are rising convinces me that I have made the right decision. One class was missing 14 children today and a third of our staff following positive tests.
