A bit Stephfending:she likes to stay in better hotels and eat out in fancy restaurants but to be fair she spends only a few days there. I wouldn't even start thinking to drive 11 hours in a car one-way to only stay 3 nights. With filming and everything it doesn't seem that much of a relaxing holiday. Even in Barbados though beautiful and again a luxury housing I don't believe with travelling, jetlag, preparing the Christie's thing and again vlogging is more of a workation than real vacation. She doesn't allow herself even another day to spent in NYC.... Would never do that myself.

She only likes to stay in better hotels and eat out in fancy hotels if she doesn't have to pay for it herself, with her own money that is. And if you don't think that is shallow and rather obnoxious, it's worse: she actually feels entitled to the luxury and wealth. When she was invited by her friends to stay with them in Venice, the pricy palazzo place was booked by her friends and she only had to pay a tiny compensation for her room, the one she used as a Tinder brothel during their stay, talk about class and lack thereof... Her friends had to ask her again and again to pay that compensation, but of course SJ claimed she was a bit tight on the money, would it be a problem if.... Long story short: she never payed her friends.

She really is sort of despicable. She was depressed for 8 years because her daddy (substitute the word money) died. Did absolutely nothing to improve her circumstances and flitted around taking trips on other peoples money, leaving her house to become a dump. She could have sold it and moved back to London. She could have pursued any kind of a career.

I really thought she was a bizarro hooker after I started seeing too many red flags. Like couture clothing, but shitty grounds. That weird shitty car. I figured she was working her customers by going shopping with their credit card. Oh I bet her money dying was depressing.

She’s just seen Crybaby get skewered for spending all of his money and she thinks eating gold for lunch at Gucci is a good idea?? Clara is so right. She’s going to keep being thick and end up doing herself in. I think Taty is going to cause some kind of major problem. I just get that feeling. I've had friends like MP. They were fun at the time, but I eventually wised up and dumped them. I remember one such "friend" warning me that my then BF would end up "hurting" me and so I should dump him. Flash forward 30 years and that boyfriend is now my husband. Another thing her statement about the rented car clears up is that Christie’s is not paying for her ‘exile’, why else would she try to safe money on it. If she was actually invited by Christie’s to be their tasteless maker, that does not make sense.

Two friends and their big ass dog in their newly purchased luxurious RV are going everywhere and staying a week. They've been saving all their lives for this.
They can barely stand being in such close quarters -- three times the size of Selmar's love shack -- with each other and the very sweet, super laid back, 100 lb vicious pibble.
I predict Tats will get Selmar's ass of out Lalande and themselves into some larger accommodation ASAP. Selmar is a bit of a large damp bog and hopefully whatever gave them the belief that it was possible for them to buy a chateau, real or imagined, will get them out from under the really baleful influence of SJ. We've twice seen her bully Selmar on cam -- with Matt the digger on the location for the van, and with Nick the tree man on, oh yes, the location of the van.
If SJ tries to bully Selmar in Tats' presence, I have no doubt the shit will hit the fan -- around animal cruelty for real, and perhaps worker exploitation. I hope Tats takes over Selmar's camera and his flog, as she did his Patreon page.

The title of the vlog is "Chateau Diaries". You wouldn't watch it if you weren't interested in chateaus and people who renovate them.
(I had a little fantasy of buying an old property in France or Italy and renovating it. These chateau vlogs have put me off thank goodness! Money pits it seems)

She appeared on Escape to the Chateau Diy on this basis and that's when I started following her vlogs. Without the programme she would be nobody.
I'm sure many people who subscribed to YouTube thought that by doing so they were helping her with the running costs of the chateau and repairs. Heaven knows how the Patreons feel about her constant travelling. Nothing gets completed. I subscribe to a few gardening vlogs. If they went swanning off to Barbados I'd stop watching.
I never became a Patreon but did subscribe to YouTube and sat through the ads, thinking it would mean more money would be available for the renovations and basic repairs and we'd get some nice vlogs about it. Now I don't because she's just spending large chunks of YouTube income on fine dining and luxury breaks with her service squirrel. Stuff you Steffi and Squirrel Nutkin, change the title to "Eating with Stephanie, a guide to the world's best restaurants" or " The world's best hotels" or similar or just do what your vlog title suggests and show us the Chateau improvements in more detail, instead of hiding it for a TV series that never materialises. Rant over.! The reason I still watch is mainly because of finding the Tattle site. You guys are so funny.

All the Brits could buy some for much, much less here and pack it up in a knitted sweater and post it to you. Mind you, with the postage and customs charges, it would probably be no cheaper in the end. We could throw in some homemade jam and few hedgehogs!

So last flog SSB proclaimed something about happiness is living inside a wheel of Parmesan cheese. This flog, living is paaarfect because she is doing so inside of a “green pea”. She has validated herself because she acknowledged the slave history that is VERY directly associated with their accommodation and then gets back to lala bubble with the Spode à la Barbados. SSB acknowledges (who?!?!) by saying BJJ will be on the toilet all night due to his crème brûlée indulgence. I missed the double indentations in the bed @Arfarf- but trust they are there! All of this… to this point… why do people celebrate this narrow lifestyle?! Thank you to all who have posted all the dissenting flog comments. Grrrrrrrrr. I'm appalled by her lack of sensitivity - mentioning the connection with slavery but hardly any real life acknowledgement (mixed feelings, love of beauty and cruel past - obviously the first prevails, translated into luxury and entitlement). When you get to know the real SJ, all the signs are very obvious and always present. Like her confession that she tried to save some money on renting a car (because SHE doesn't find cars that important) but she can't resist to mention that she nevertheless got a huge upgrade, at zero extra charge. This is who she actually is: constantly denominating what comes her way to prove the world revolves around her. Yes, superfans, this is that poor girl that could not afford to buy food you are so desperately trying to help.
