I was thinking the same thing however the idea that they can't find French craftsmen or that no one in France can do the work is a bit of the stretch. I have been watching the Chateau de Versailles Youtube videos and I am rendered speechless by the artistry and skills demonstrated by the expert gilders, stone masons, etc.
One of the things that pushed me over the edge was the way SJ said croissant. I get a warm, fuzzy feeling knowing I never have to hear that again.
Talk about stepping up, it's about time SJ realizes she's losing her first spot in vlog-lala-land. I'm no fan of hers, but to be fair, a lot of women like to joke about wearing a bra as a marker of how much effort they were willing to put in that day. Although when she's such a big fan of not wearing one it is odd that she's bragging about putting one on now, in quarantine, when there's nobody around to know or care.
Yeah, she mentioned that the architect will now be supervising the terrace rebuild but it can't happen until Sept because the architect firm and building firm are closed during August.
