It might not be about the renovations as SJ has stated yet thats why she is receiving money from her patreons. So she better start moving those projects. I bet the only thing which will finish is the downstairs loo in 2021. And the chapel in 2022.

With all the money that's coming in she could have the château demolished and build another one in its place ... it would be in a better condition than the current one and have the same market value ...Unlike most on here, I don't see that she's squirrelling away a ton of money. It's obvious to me she's spending every dime they take in and she's spending her own money on all the decorations/furniture/nonsense. The shitoo needs millions of euros in investment to make it worth the price of $300+ euro per night she wants to charge. It must be overwhelming that wherever you look, there is a need to spend tens of thousands of euros, let alone find a reliable craftsman to do the work. I agree that she should prioritize the work and not take a scattershot approach to renovations. I would prioritize to accommodate whatever her business plan is - B&B, weddings, events, etc - and go from there. The garden plan was lovely, but it shouldn't be at the top of any list.

Good observations, @Espe! Has anyone else wondered why on earth she would want to cover her expensive Yves Delorme bedding which she has on her bed from the Paris Ritz with that dirty, tatty toile? If other patrons are like her, I can't help feeling just very slightly sorry for them because it's clear they have absolutely no awareness of just how wealthy SJ is and seem unaware that, because she displays a lot of rubbish and enthuses about it on the gift grabs, she also has cupboards full of very high end branded stuff costing thousands of dollars; extremely expensive taste in wallpapers, bed linen, etc. Do they not see the difference between those things and the trashy stuff they like themselves and that they buy for her? They live in a completely different world. SJ only has herself to blame for all the trash in the attic. Cara seems to have packed hundreds of brightly coloured pairs of tights and some shoes that I can see BJJ in, maybe he'd like to borrow some of her stuff! Do they know she wants to spin the wool and if so, has anyone washed it and removed the ticks? What with her and Celeste, the trademark expert, there's going to be some interesting times ahead and I'm willing to bet SJ escapes from most of it!
