Is that Hanni modelling these gems? They do look snugly though! No drawstring but I think I have located SJ and BJJ.

If she is in fact a born and bred Newfoundlander she will be able to take the “piss” as is mentioned on here. They have been the brunt of many “Newfie” jokes but they have turned the tables with their unparalleled wit. Since she is a performer I suspect she has it in spades. As @Dippy Hippy suggested back in the mists of time, Cara is a good ole girl who will add some much needed energy, wacky or not, to Lalande. Let her spin her wool -- I am very interested in this -- and ricochet around the place. She's red-blooded and well meaning and hell bent on having a good time. Perhaps not BCBG but neither are the Lalanders, no matter what they tell themselves.
I'm wagering SJ treats her like she treated Ma Petherick -- without cause, just because Cara is fat. I hope I don't have to see any of the tragic photos like those taken when Brenda Gibbons, decades and stones out of place, visited and was photographed like The Aged Parent totally out of it, isolated on a couch somewhere in a corner of the grand salon while the Lalanders danced in their onesies.
A lot of her energy is preemptive, I think. Alexander Pope was four and a half feet tall and hunchbacked. He said it took him about 20 minutes to make people forget it.
as you have described her she certainly does not fit SJ aesthetics. I suspect she could run circles around the Laplanders!
@KiKiGee I can’t unsee those pics! Stuff of nightmares! I will see those images when I close my eyes however it might wipe out some of the images of MPK and his friends
Oh good to hear I hope you enjoy! You can also find great Acadian recipes online. In respect to Acadian dishes they differ regionally. Yes boudin blood pudding similar to the one in Louisiana. My father loved it and I ate it as a child until I realized what it was. Love the smell of it cooking though!BTW, in your honor, I am now the proud owner of The Acadian Kitchen by Alain Bossé with a fascinating recipe for ployes. And many other interesting and hearty things like blood pudding. What I think of as clean food -- granny cooking, and it's all in the cooking and the flavor of the vegetables and meat. Nice, thank you.
