Isn't the term to describe him an Influencer? If anyone were to use his lack of skill set to start their own renovation project they wouldn't last to see it through... do his videos ever come with a disclaimer? Don't try this at home... this is how I do it but I don't recommend anyone watching should do it this way... Can you imagine the backlash if a viewer were to 'copy' some of his shortcuts and ended up with serious injuries.... he really need to touch base with reality and recognise his slap dashery is foolish and dangerous.
Danger porn is what he's producing now. We are not amused.

I know Gwen is supposed to be hosting something at Begmania while the boys are off collecting the new organ for the convent. But MPK just posted this short and looking at the floral decorations on the staircase makes me wonder if there’s a wedding coming up. Michael’s choice of piano music to practice is rather unsettling though. Any idea what’s going on next week for him to be practicing? Halloween is more than two weeks off.

I think I heard that she's holding a fundraiser together with Ma P for a cancer hospital?

Derail!

Just to prove the Sun doesn’t revolve around Fanny or DANgerous, there is an annular solar eclipse happening at the moment.

Watch it on the NASA YouTube channel:

We have the glasses and get a (still very good!) partial view. Friends have traveled a few hours to catch the full view!

I doubt Dan even has a permis de construire. To do what he is doing would require an application to the local Marie, By law, this would be done by an architect as the property is larger than 150m2. This would include all detailed drawings of existing and new details. Any architect would recommend a report (etude) by a structural engineer to assess the state of the property. This may only be possible once a suitable scaffold has been erected around the property.
They’d provide a detailed dossier with drawings detailing the methods into reintroducing structural integrity as the project evolves.

IF he had done any of this it would have made for easy content, he could have strung the whole process out for months earning cash before he even started.

This suggests to me he has learnt well from his old master and is not telling the truth. No structural engineer has been near chateau caca.
Thank you, again, for the straight skinny on what the law is in France. All reports from our Frenchies greatly valued.

It's max annular eclipse where I'm at right now. The Navajo people take this as a spiritual event, death of our father, the sun, especially today, which is also Navajo new year. Autumn equinox, when dark and light are equal, and then we move into longer darkness, is pierce-the-veil time. Big medicine. Peace and light await us.

I don't get it! Don't they have to have building permits in France? If Dan's project was in the states, there is absolutely no way he would be allowed to do what he's doing. Please, someone living there tell me. I just have a very difficult time with this. If he needs permits and inspections and is not getting them, then he can't legally ever sell the place, non? It's not like France is Afghanistan or El Salvador! 🤷‍♀️

I think I've said this before, but one of the definitions of stupid is not learning from your mistakes, i.e., Dan. There are a lot of people who praise Dan for his work ethic, but part of having a good work ethic is working smart, that he does not do. I don't wish him harm, I just wish he would wise up before it's too late. Personally, I think he's got a screw or two loose upstairs.
Maybe he never intended to finish it. He’s just playing with Lego’s. He’ll cash in and leave it for the next guy to fix.

Dan proves once more to be the most arrogant, rude, idiotic creature in the entire chateauverse. He shows no respect for himself, his kids, his pets, his friends and his viewers. He doesn’t read comments? Unbelievable. He doesn’t even care to interact with his patrons and they still send him money? Prove his patrons are a growing bundle of idiots, why would someone give money to a repugnant creature like Dan?

And the worst part is, if something happens to idiot Dan, Fanny will be the one to report it in CD vlog direct from the emergency room. She will get the views of a life time announcing how he broke his back, or both legs, or is in coma with brain trauma or something because the idiot will not be able upload his most expected video. His totally avoidable fall…
Agree entirely. I’m afraid that we Tattlers all know, that when it comes to Dan :

WHY WHY WHY didn't PJ and Uncle just drive back from Emmaus via the dechetterie and lie to SJ if necessary, as long as the mattresses and sofa were gone the goal was achieved. It wasn't as if she was going to Emmaus to buy them back or go to the dechetterie.

Off topic:

My niece and I are watching the Elvis movie. If you want to see some video of the real Elvis Presley (young and older throughout his entire career), singing and dancing, you may want to check out these videos which are complied of clips from performances and music. It has many segments of the actual concert/tv/ film footage of Elvis that was replicated by the actor in the Elvis film interspersed thru the videos,You can easily skip from clip to clip. If you watched the film, you might like the videos below.

The 1968 special clip of the real Elvis singing if I can Dream..

Elvis was and still is The King. Don’t get me wrong, I was bought up on rock n roll, but I love my blues and soul music but listen to early Elvis R&B, his Gospel songs. What a gift.
Elvis had it all. Looks, the voice, the moves. I defy anyone with a pulse to find fault with his ‘comeback tour’.
Man he was sex on legs in that leather suit 😍😍😍😍🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪

And he invented ‘live and unplugged’ 😉 with that concert

no one can compete imho and trust me I’ve tried to find someone who can. Teddy Pendergrass came close, Marvin Gaye too. Elvis Had that certain something that’s not been matched to this day

Thank you for jogging my memory here.....I wondered the exact same thing this morning and forgot to ask. Where I live in the US (and all states here have different rules and all counties within our states have different rules) any sort of building of the type that Dan is doing (and I use the word "doing" very carefully, as I don't believe he's doing anything.......this entire thing is just fodder for views and to make money. If it's truly to resuscitate that building, I'll eat my hat while I'm praying at the same time that NO ONE ever walks into that place if and when it's ever completed) has to have inspections at every stage of building. When I had my deck put in, an inspector came in and reviewed in the middle of the three days it took to put it up and then they came again when it was completed. Last summer, when I had to have new sewer lines put in, when the hole was dug and the connection made, all work stopped while they waited for the county permitting office to email them the ok to proceed (the plumbing company took video and emailed it to the county to speed it up). When I had my basement completed 20 years ago, the company I used had three inspections in the two months it took to complete the basement. I had a sliding glass door replaced at some point and even that had to be inspected - the installation company was so sure everything would be fine, they slapped the paperwork on the window, warned me not to remove it, and then they came back and removed it a week later once the inspection had been done.

Where are these people in France? I'm sorry, but having your local mayor in charge of this is asinine and not enough to ensure safety.

A quick google came up with this?…..

Fanny sounded quite embarrassed when it was revealed that her boyfriend was born 21 years after her birth! She was her usual obnoxious self in that vlog. Someone should show her how to apply her lipstick; it looked awful!

It's awful. Why they couldn't have put some attractive river rock or plum slate over the weed barrier is beyond me. Certainly more tacky than tasteful in my view.
They're tarting up the chateau itself for 5 star customers. Who will keep driving right on down the road once they get a load of the astroturf. Not to mention the camp sites and "chalets" they're planning to build throughout the fields with a "view of the chateau". Just what I want to see out of the window of my €800 a night chateau suite. I think they're out of their minds.
