I’ve been chateau verse clean for the past month… just watched the 2 videos about Benoit. But I have to say, from just reading here, Dan is being sneaky and doing things in the background. He isn’t making big promises, quite the reverse… he keeps emphasizing how slow things are going to be (that one is lesson learned from Fanny many flues) and I think I saw some time ago that he explained why he’s just doing dirt shovelling for now and it kinda made sense to me at the time… (don’t make me go back and actually find out what was said please 😅)

I don’t like Dan as a person, but my social media business brain is telling me he’s a man with a plan… the plan may not be successful, but if he is careful, he can surpass stephame for sure! (Not in Patreon income, but YT… also, note, smart doesn’t mean moral… I’m not discussing that aspect of it… just business)
priority first: how are you? are you feeling better?

You haven't missed anything in chateau verse. same old same old, nothing completed.

Dan has been sneaky since he bought the ruin! shovelling dirt, cutting trees building up his audience, forking in the youtube monies and the past months patreon monies. I don't think he will be going down the path of Patreon unless he changed his mind.
Although we don't know what he want to do with the ruin when it is finished (hahaha) he might have picked up on a suggestion which I made here. Because from youtube monies alone he won't be able to finish the ruin. Surpassing Fannies patreon is hard unless the new kid on the block comes with a better idea.

I’m doing better, thanks for asking ❤
Recovery is very slow and I’m very frustrated… it feels like my healthy able body suddenly betrayed me and I feel absolutely useless at the moment. But it is what it is… gotta be patient 🫤

As for Dan… I’m just gonna watch the events unfold. No point in speculating really, he can throw the whole thing in the bin with one stupid move 🫠 who knows 😆

I think it happened but recently, mmmm not so sure. He'd just had the dressings off, the fingers were broken and now he's going for physio. A certain perioid of time would have to pass before that treatment started.
I don't know what it's like for a hand injury, but my husband has had a total of 3 shoulder surgeries (two on one and one on the other, all done in the space of two years) and within 72 hours of each, he was in physical therapy. Since they were all outpatient surgeries, he went back to the orthopedist in 48 hours and I even recall that after one of the follow-up visits, I drove him directly to PT. I think it has something to do with it being a joint, to help prevent scar tissue from forming quickly. I would assume that fingers are no different.

I'm curious.. what was the name of the hotel in Dublin.

It's a small hotel called "Eliza Lodge", and it's on a corner by the Millennium Bridge in Dublin. It has 4.5 stars on Tripadvisor, which baffles me! I had posted my honest (mostly negative) review, I was stunned to see that most people raved about the place. So, I'm not surprised that LaLande might be getting so many positive reviews. PS: so sorry if this is a double post. My first time posting, and I'm not familiar with it!

Must be a tattler age thing, I'm also post op today, eye surgery to hopefully sort out double vision issue.
Ack....this is my first attempt at posting here, and I'm a bit confused. Hope my reply posts correctly!

The point is - it does not matter whether it is successful or not - it is not his own money he is playing with.

I'm sorry you feel that way! you'll be back running in no time and in a better shape then before.

I'm watching Dan too. I'm intrigued

I don't necessarily disagree with you, however, I'm not sure that the primary goal of Dan is to actually restore the chateau. He is looking to be a star, first and foremost. And if it's true that he's earning upwards of $15,000 monthly on what he's doing right this minute, I'm sure he's just fine moving dirt and rocks around. Plus, if we've learned anything here by watching Stephanie, it's that people will continue to watch the most mundane, absolute tit content and pay extra for it through Patreon, ignore what they see and what common sense should tell them is false, defend the YouTuber to the death, for months and months and months. None of us should be worried about Dan and how he's going to pay for a roof!
If Dan is getting $15,000 dollars a month, Annalise must be thrilled. She will be able to have generous child support. A shame they were not married - he would have to have supported her too.

That’s why I said I’m just talking business 🙂
His YT income is his tho… and I think it’s around $4000-5000/mo at this point which is not enough to do anything serious.
I wonder how much he’s paying Nick… seems like he’s been doing a lot of work for him.

He’s not getting $15,000… I bet the rest of my broken heart on it 😂

I think Danny is smarter than we give him credit for and he has an actual plan.
He spoke with C4 worked out a deal then got himself the ruin. He didn't mention architect, he didn't mention his plan or intentions. His friend Cal showing up twice now. Why? where was Cal when Dan did huge restorations in his farm house. Is Cal a real friend or paid for help by C4?
Dan has been clearing weeds/trees shovelling dirt's and stones for weeks now and thousands of people have tuned in to watch that. 558 patreons paying him to shovel dirt.

Why will the patreon run for 3 months? Than what? I'm invested in Dan's story. I would laugh my socks of if the underdog beats the witch
Now that I can get behind. Imagine Fanny's face :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Or the ruin collapses, whatever comes first ;)

Hands are no joke. I went to a hand specialist once (omg…the jokes going through @HalcyonOrganic ’s brain right now lol)…I injured my hand scraping linoleum off a concrete floor. I couldn’t push a door open for over a year before I finally gave up and told my primary care Dr about it, because I felt like a wuss. She immediately sent me to a hand specialist and I was amazed sitting in his office at the diagrams of how many critical working parts are in a hand. The injury eventually just self healed itself and the dr told me that I was much better off giving it time than trying any kind of surgery. They scanned it and couldn’t see any damage, but he said it was probably because I waited so long to be seen. We now refer to my hand as the claw (which makes me laugh when we see Stephanie’s claw hand)…I have a hard time holding onto things like a paint brush or a curling iron for any amount of time. My hand just goes completely numb. I’ve dropped my hot curling iron out of my hand a few times and I’ve never jumped so fast in my life to prevent being burnt by it, as it tumbled from my head to the floor. I stick to mainly hot rollers now. Lol

That’s really why I felt for Benoit. Plus, he needs his hands to work. These surgeries and physical therapy are no joke. I hope he follows through with all the PT. That generation seems to think PT is silly, but there is a reason for it. Sorry to hear about your husband’s shoulder surgeries. My cousin just had his rotator cuff surgery and he is one of the toughest guys I know and he told my husband (who also has a tear in his rotator cuff) to try and avoid the surgery if he can because it was so painful. I can’t imagine your husband having to go through 3 surgeries. That’s terrible. ❤ (Luckily my cousin has a new girlfriend who is making sure he goes through all his PT. That’s my dumb “cuz”…macho man, looks like the Incredible Hulk from lifting weights but he wound up injuring himself. After retiring from being a firefighter and 2 back surgeries. We are very grateful for the new GF to make sure he doesn’t do anything dumb while healing).

Oww, 2 surgeries within 72 hours eeek! For Benoit, I'm working on the theory running his hand into a moving saw might not be a clean cut and I thought he said he'd broken a finger. I can't remeber if he said he had surgery. If broken an open fracture that would have to be cleaned out of debris, followed by a course of antibiotics. They'd deal with that first.

See Beau Chateau went for bland beige curtains. I will give Dan one thing at least he pulls his finger out, I prefer him to Fanny but seriously that is not a compliment, I would prefer a bout of Gonorrhoea to Fanny. I also don't find his flog that interesting and I can't find the building interesting because it is never going to be restored

How many TV or film projects require the ruins of a 1920s chateau? Highclere Castle it is not.
They could film an alternative ending of Downtown Abbey: the version in which they did not mange to save the estate :)

So I wonder if SJ will be fast asleep tonight unable to post her obligated Patreon flog? Fell asleep!!! I mean please!

Is anyone able to get a recording up of the one later tonight and the last few weeks we’ve missed. I do so live for a Patreon flog mudslinging takedown
