I had a fabulous painter and decorator for years and he would annually paint rotating the rooms/exterior every other year. He was pure gold.
Unfortunately, about 18 months before I finally decided to sell, he was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Such a lovely man and so v.v. sad.
Ultimately, I had to cajole my son into helping me. It was hard work but, thankfully, it all worked out well in the end!

Sabine seems to have left the HMN.

I think it does belong to an individual - a couple from Australia who bought it in 2013 - although I haven't read everything about it yet, I haven't seen anything to suggest it was owned by someone other than this couple from Australia. They have an impressive Press section where the female owner has been interviewed by Channel 10, their Instagram account was considered one of the top 10 restoration accounts to follow by Architectural Digest, they have won some sort of Medal of Honor by the French Institute for their restoration work. There were basically no floors in this place when they bought it - they've cut down trees from their property and show video footage of them milling this after years of it drying out and are using the wood in the chateau (sound familiar??). I think I read, too, that some of the parquet flooring has come Versailles itself - it's a Grade 1 listed building, as well.

I can't wait to read more about it. It looks like a dream! Thank you @bumbleblue for sharing this!

Very true. He would reserve a week for me every year and then just come and do whatever was necessary. Totally trustworthy and had many clients for decades, some of whom even remembered him in their wills and worked up until he was 80. RIP Gerald.

I assure you it is true, I can’t find the bit where I asked him, that was on a reel I think but after he laughed at me I went into Instagram messages and sent this. No I’ve told you before I’m not showing photos as they are only 22/23 year old babies.

Pippin speaks out

I am many, many pages behind, but this struck me hard. We are talking about a 27 (?) year-old-guy with no skills, no money, not many social graces, can't read the room, isn't handy, and sadly, isn't even attractive in face or body (of course, he can't help that, but he could make better style & hair choices). What on earth is Stephanie Jarvis doing with this kid? Don't answer that, as we've already chatted about it once.

I did not. I haven’t watch in almost a year. I rely on the other tattlers to keep me updated. I still dip in to the other chateauverse vloggers occasionally. I am a Billy fan so I keep up with the Pethericks. Let the losers shoot their shots. It’s proof we’ve gotten deeply under LieLander’s skin. It’s obvious they are furiously frantic over Tattle. Funny how I enjoy ol’ Bill’s winks and nods but couldn’t give two hoots and a holler for what Fraudie Fanny and her troops have to say.

Observations from todays valentine cd video:

It was nice of the Douche Lord to lower the lighting to create a very romantic atmosphere for Dan and Fanny.

Fanny spent the majority of her Valentine’s dinner talking and flirting with Dan, not her “Valentine” Phi Phi. She praised Phi Phi for cutting the fruit for the chocolate fountain very nicely.

Who believes Phi Phi actually purchased the dress for F4F ( like he “purchased “ the stilettos she unwrapped for her last birthday)?

Who thinks Phi Phi has worn the gold dress himself prior to Valentine’s day?

Fannys face is shiny and glass like from her botox.

The diggers are not being maintained and seem to be in a perpetual state of disrepair. How not surprising.

F4F is an almost 50 year old toddler, requiring treasure hunt games to find cold McDonald’s burgers, wearing “ ballet slippers” when playing on the digger, and running everywhere she goes, e.g., “ racing” around and twirling round and round In her new dress while crying out “ it’s like a fairytale.” She is so self centered and high maintenance.

Fanny still has the most expensive veggie patch in France.How do they keep the dogs away from the peacocks?

Phi Phi was sad he only received 1 stone cold McDonald’s burger. He normally eats 6 at a time.

Fanny loves waving her man hands in front of the camera.

Interesting choice of music playing when Dan and Fanny are playing with the digger and dumper.
