Maybe people doubting you on here has made you read too much into some comments. I merely pointed out that you are not American (Ruth) and explained the reason for why I thought that, rather than just making an assumption.
I based it upon your use of language which would only be recognised by Dutch people, e.g. "x pretends to be integer but...". Integer has a completely different meaning in English than "having integrity". There are a few other examples, but anyone who speaks Dutch would see that, I am not claiming to be interested in where you live (I'm not). If it doesn't bother you, then why the snappy remark abuot me thinking I know it all?
I know some people can be accused of "having a go" at you on here but I do not recall ever doing that, so the benefit of the doubt would be appreciated, because it does bother me.
It doesn't bother me because I'm interested in the actual information shared and not in identities of the ones that are sharing it. I am not doubting your best intentions at all, but by involving yourself in discussions about my identity and sharing your personal observations here, you provide ammunition to those flying monkeys that have a less kind agenda towards me, maybe thats the snappy part you noticed.
Ruth is not American, by the way, very British, but with a mother of Dutch heritage (Oops,
)
Yes, Cransford Hall. I thought she mentioned being about 7 ? moving there but they then did it up and moved occupants in 1 by 1. My recollection of care regulations at the time was that you didn’t have to register it as an official “ residential home” until you had 3 occupants ...,but I may be mistaken on the threshold. If it was subsequently registered ras a residential home , I think LA inspected. Responsibility for both nursing and residential inspection then passed to HA. This then moved to CQC in 2008/2009.
Very useful information indeed, thank you. From Gerald Grady we know he moved there in 1983, SJ was born in 1975, so 7 or 8 at the time they moved in, seems to fit.
Cransford Hall in Framlingham used to be a boarding school, is that correct?
Yes, until 1982. The Jarvis family moved in after that, probably in 1983.
