I can’t help but feel sorry for the ones who live far away and had their interview by whatsap video call as they are at a disadvantage over the ones that met him in person.

In light of covid and making it fair he should have done them all via whatsap or zoom.

Deff vulgar. U can’t afford education we might give u a scholarship but first we must show you on our YouTube.. once we select you we will follow your progress and post it online...
Poverty porn is so disgusting. IS was guilty showing giving the buckets. This dude is just repugnant. The golden shower social climbing dress has sunk even lower. Making scholarship applicates appear on Youtube is a new low. Ugh.

The Tatler's view (British magazine targeted towards the British upper-middle class and upper class ) of the use of "What?" is "we recommend approaching it with caution for fear of looking like an arrogant hole." Now that the upper classes no longer view the use of "pardon" as de rigueur, it would appear that this outdated snobbery has become a concern for the lower classes with ideas "above one's station."
Fascinating stuff, eh?
I wonder where my “say again” falls 🤣 😂 🤣 😂

Couldn't agree more.
I don't mean to force religion into this thread, but in Judaism, Tzedakah (acts of righteousness/charity) must be done in private. I think Christians have something similar in their Bible: "when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing."

If you want to help someone in need, just do it. You don't have to vlog about it.
Perhaps introducing the scholar to the public is fine, but to highlight their poverty is really demeaning.

has anyone watched the video? I kept zoning in and out. It was a case of plead your poverty. I zoned in on the last one. Truly heart breaking. Saying how she will take her grandmother for a buffet. Now sitting here wishing I could pay for them to go for a nice meal.

wish I could get into sj head. Have her watch that video and really see what she is thinking and feeling towards all of that.

Steph as Dorothy (with the personality of Blanche)
Isabelle (or Nati) as Sophia
Marie as Rose
Nati (or Philip) as Blanche

Dan doesn’t appear to be an expert at growing food. He strikes me as a mow & blow garden maintenance guy. Since they still haven’t figured out how they’ll water this summer, they really should mulch those beds.
To be honest, he has licked that garden Into shape. The backbone of a garden is in the prep. Let's see where it leads this year.

It's confirmed!

Stephanie Jarvis gets her vlog ideas from Betty White!

Agreed. It's called virtue signalling.

I’m not sure I want to show what DB is up to now on Facebook 😬
Oh yes you do 😉

Considering that Dan started there in May for one day a week, he has done an incredible job! What a shame that we don't see the same level of progress elsewhere in the Chateau.
