The view would have to be "glorious" and not just 'nice' to suit Fanny. Plus she won't want to stay in an Air B&B because there'll be no-one to cater to her every wish, except Snorts and there's no evidence he can do anything except paint his nails. I’ve had a lot of questions about things that didn’t quite add up, but didn’t care enough to ‘investigate’. Then this weekend I was watching a drama (Grantchester) and fleecing the elderly in care homes was part of the plot (à la Say Anything) and a bell went *ding*. I stoped the program and started googling which led me here.
In my real life I work in sustainability, have lots of plants, and need a vacation.

It’s “beneath her.” Instead, she views herself to be of the “leisure class” and her work is done as more of a hobby (in her mind she doesn’t need to work, she just works for the “enjoyment” of it). The only thing is…others who are really in that class of people would be embarrassed to be associated with someone who openly grifts and subsists on handouts from patrons. More than likely, she would be viewed as a “poseur” or fraud in those social circles, just as she’s viewed as one here. When someone asks what I do for a living, at least I can hold my head up and say I earn my own money. I don’t have to tell people “I depend upon the generosity of others.”Agree. You have a good point about a hotel. If Fanny had traded for an air B and B or was staying at one for free, she would have talked about it In her videos in order to show how thrifty she was being. We know Snorty is not a favourite among the other shiteau owners so I'm confused as to why Nick & Marie would invite Fanny and Snorty along on their summer vacay. Two reasons spring to mind:I finally watched the vlog this afternoon. The whole brocante thing, in my view, is more gaslighting. The trip with Nic & family is curious. I suspect that Nic sees who she is and Marie definitely does. And if they didn't, but just see the comments on her vlogs they do know and are doing a good thing by disassociating from it. Whether that means Nic's interest in the chateau is being sold or transferred, I don't know and it remains to be seen. But when you have a child and respectable employment as Marie does, why would you expose your family to this crap? Good for them for saying "no filming". Maybe Nutty was mad to be cleaning and left out of the conversation.
