I know what happened!

during the last cheese platter themed party, Natti placed vegan cheese next to the real cheese.
that’s what made tatti snap completely and have a breakdown.

End.

Selmaaaaaaar!
Yesh, Datty?
I can’t live here anymore. Let’s go.
Okeh, Datty

Im glad he isnt the primary care giver because in the unloading the wood vlog he paid little if any attention to that little boy and that was a dangerous situation.
I've quite often been worried about the safety of those little boys when they've been in his care and he's been too busy doing a bodge job whilst filming.
Dan is slipshod and careless in most things he does, including childcare.
I completely agree, little kids need constant attention. The chateau is no place for an unsupervised child. Neither is a workshop, or the roadside or riding in a van while dad is driving & droning. The chateau also has a sad history with the moat. Don’t bring your kids to “work”, if you can’t give them your full attention.

Haha as I predicted Stephanie Jarvis, the partial owner of Chateau de Lalande, swindler of Patreon and master manipulator behind the Chateau Unwrapped YouTube channel has miraculously pulled her finger out for some DIY after voices of decent after her 3 month hiatus. Love the maniacally panicked smile.

Let's face it... having a wife and kids in tow simply doesn't suit the chateau lifestyle of endless parties, alcohol consumption, travel and dress-ups. Dan has been seduced by the entire chateau lifestyle, while his partner, with her feet firmly on the ground, has remained largely aloof from the hedonistic goings-on. She's worked hard, watched over the kids in his numerous absences, and done it all with no applause, no grandstanding, and no real support. She's watched him being pulled deeper and deeper into blot on the landscape that is de la Lande, watched as he became enamoured to a lifestyle out of his reach, probably lied endlessly about his involvement in the chateau's underbelly, and watched as he walked away from everything he'd built with her.

I say she should take him for everything he's got.
We don’t know the details of their relationship, so all this is pure speculation and opinions. We all have issues with Stephanie, but she can’t be held personally responsible for everyones troubles just because they work there. Dan and Annalise have been together since they were teens. They made the decision to move to another country away from family and friends, bought a derelict house, lived in one room while they worked on the remodel and had two children in quick succession to boot. As they have both admitted, it was a tough few years and I am sure it was a financial strain as well with only one income and probably sporadic at that until he started working full time at LeLande. Prior to their break up, I never saw Dan hanging out for parties or other events in a social manner. He did his job and went home. Obviously by the time Amaury arrived 6 months ago, their relationship issues were at the point where they split up, Dan moved to the chateau and we started seeing him during off hours, which was noticed and commented on by viewers who were concerned that he was spending more time at the chateau when he should be home with his family. Of course no one knew he was living there and he and Annalise were trying to navigate their relationship and parenting issues. I really don’t see that his work at the chateau was the reason for the break up. Whatever their problems were, his working and bringing in a steady income was and is absolutely necessary. They obviously are still spending time as a family as his vlogs show and the kids look happy, so if this is what is best for them as individuals and they can remain friends and raise their boys together albeit not under the same roof, then good for them. I wish them well.

Kat-the-great - just seen you here, and wanted to say I followed your trail (not difficult) because I found your comments on art & gardens etc worth investigating - complimenti👋 on what you have achieved and am sorry about your health issues.

Wow!
Even though YENTAS somehow sort of smelled that something was not right between Dan and Annalise long before, today's confirmation was truly heartbreaking. Every split is painful. I do feel bad for Annalise whose partner got intoxicated with his own YouTube success and poisoned by the even more potent Lalande venom.

I’m willing to concede - but I just don’t see Dan and Cat as an option. Cat is well educated and very witty, I don’t see her dipping her toe in the lake (puddle) of Daniel Preston. I think Cat views Dan as co-conspirator who sees through the BS of Stephanie Jarvis & co. Sadly, I think Dan got wrapped up in it all with the pea coats and raybans… all very odd. His ego has tripped him up.
....hmmm....I suspect dan the man has sampled a few of those easy Lalande chickies...and now thinks of himself...as one hot...bad ass mofo...a regular stud...if you will. ....delusional...of course...

....annalisse...great fresh face...lovely eyes and hair...take some time for yourself...and get your body tight...and you will soon be a hot ticket...in mucho demand...in no time at all...😎

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - when you cross that moat into the HMN everything goes belly up. My thoughts are with Annalise.

The more astute Tartlets predicted this - sadly, well done for your observations. @Clara Burnett were you aware?
Dan needs to get out the HMN asap. I worry about SJ's influence over him now. This explains so much about the hanging around with Amaury, these weird night time drives to the UK, visiting Venice (I thought he wanted to take Annalise there later...), and renovating the pantry without prompting. Sad business.
I what to bring Annelise to Venice.
Well that was a BIG lie wasn't it.
Lalande and SJ curse everyone who get involved with them

I said this at the end of the last thread, and I’ll say it again. Does anything good ever happen to anyone who enters the gates of that farmhouse? Is anyone left unscathed? I swear I think it’s a cursed place.
It seems to be good when people first arrive, but then everything goes to tit. Yep cursed.

Perhaps he did want to take her to Venice as a last attempt to patch things up? Maybe Annlise was the one who wanted out of their relationship or is it only ever men who walk away in Tattleland? As we have said she's a pretty girl. Perhaps she has found someone else? I don't think we should be acting as judge and jury.

Without going into any details, I can asure you it actually was. We all know where the order came from, I don't even have to suggest. Dan however still lives in denial, even now. Sad, isn't it?
Aren´t you making this even worse than it really must be for them, IF they read? A break-up is always a tough thing to go thru and I am sorry for them and at the same time realise that it is not by business why it happened. I wish them both well as parents and persons.

In France, more than 1 couple out of 2 is not married. With kids in most of the cases.
Same in UK. Just over a third of the children in my last class were living with both parents - and those parents weren't always married.

It's very sad for the children and Im guessing wasnt the easiest of things for him to film but personally i simply feel lied to AGAIN. Why couldnt he just not appear at all and why did he make the stupid needless sideways flashes of himself talking instead of one continuous serious explanation. What was the point of that.

The least he can do would be to complete it and make a home for his children. He's there very day he said and must have time off from his jobs at the chateau so knuckle down and do the decent thing. He is living in a glorified hovel but theres no need for them to too.
Just watched Dans video, he said nothing of note. It felt like the video was an attempt to record something for his boys to see in future. But for his viewers, nothing, for his patrons, nothing, will Annaliese continue to make content for the Patreon account? Obviously Annaliese had to get a job when the breakup happened, which sucks with two toddlers, if you wanted to stay at home and raise them yourself. Is anyone speculating about the reason for the breakup? Dana? Signs point to them as a couple.

@Clara Burnett Your insight and accuracy is truly appreciated, and you know I am not a newbie trying to stir the pot. However I do wonder why you were pretty much the only one pointing fingers at FRK, when most tattlers could see that Selmar was referring to Nutti without naming her. I wonder how far the 'original plans' extend...
No no, I felt Nutty was most likely the perpetrator, but the story coming from Stephanie Jarvis' shittoo was deflecting towards FRK. It was interesting that Selmar took his time to reveal his truth.
