Last years Costa quality street ones were quite nice.

Oh I love a festive drink!!! I even bought some trader joes pumpkin spice so I could try and make PSL at home… it never tastes the same as Starbucks though!
Stupid question but how much does a PSL taste of coffee - I’m quite curious but I’m not a bit coffee drinker.

I can’t wait for autumn winter because I am sooooo sick of bleeping SWEATING. Oh my good god I am constantly, and I mean constantly having to dabb sweat off my top lip and forehead. It’s so embarrassing for me (I’m female, in my 30’s and quite overweight). But I’ve not suffered like this before in the summer. It’s not enjoyable at all. I despise hot weather in this country I really do. There’s no cool breeze, it’s just thick, sticky, hot air.

I bought some fur lined slippers in Costco today and I can't bloody wait to wear them. They are so comfortable. I've never been a slipper wearer but this year I'm feeling the whole pyjamas, dressing gown and slipper vibes. Mostly so I don't have to put the heating on as much
Oh god, me too. Yesterday started off all grey and foggy so I excitedly looked in my jumper drawer when I was getting ready for work... but a quick look out of the window told me it was still warm because other people were outside in shorts and t-shirts at 8am. Just as well, as it was muggy and unbearable by lunchtime. Same as today, sweaty and horrible. I WANT TO WEAR BOOTS AND JUMPERS NOW

I'm so glad a few of you have mentioned the sweating thing. I was thinking the other day that I don't remember being this CONSTANTLY sweaty during other summers! I'm bored of it. Makes me feel so gross.

I was making my own spiced autumn lattes last year , they were lovely . I used some dairy free squierty whip with cinnamon sprinkled on for a topping.
While I do love my glasses of Palomas and Aperol Spritz, there is something very comforting about mulled wine and hot chocolate I'm not a huge fan of PSL's though but I like that they've become an official marker of autumn. It's just too bad that autumn seems so terribly short! You go from sweating profusely for months, then a month or two (at most) of pleasant autumn weather and suddenly you're plunged into the cold, gray abyss of winter for what feels like 5 months. I guess it depends on where you live and how much you enjoy winter.

Even when I was a kid I always felt a bit uncomfortable in the Summer months, too hot, too bright, too loud! Give me chilly mornings, golden leaves, dusk and bonfires any day! Oh, and red wine by an open fire…or Baileys.

Pumpkin Spice recipe 2 tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp all spice
This is what makes up pumpkin spice which you can sprinkle on coffee and add in autumnal baking recipes.
