I thought I was the only one who experienced this.
Not the only one, I start worrying about the weather from April/May and during the summer I'm constantly checking the weather. I feel so stressed about the heat and then feel so down when it's hot, I just think I can get through it and then it will be Autumn.
I'm exactly the same. The thought of it getting warmer and the days really long genuinely really bothers me!

For me Christmas is winter tho not autumn which is why I donโ€™t like the vibe taking over November :)
I agree! I think pumpkins and autumnal things still hang around more in the US until after Thanksgiving. We need to follow their lead (as we seem to with EVERYTHING ELSE).

I actually think I was really into spooky season, and Iโ€™m really sad itโ€™s over! Iโ€™ve surprised myself, I legit never cared before but here I am, wanting to watch Hocus Pocus ๐Ÿ˜‚ next year Iโ€™m going to go all out for autumn, pumpkins galore over here ๐Ÿ˜‚

Yeah I almost wish we had thanksgiving here (although not to celebrate it with commercialised crap as itโ€™s nothing to do with England really, better be careful what I wish for ๐Ÿ˜†) it just seems really cosy and autumnal. November is NOT Christmas season until you start getting towards the end

maybe we could keep this thread going throughout the year ๐Ÿ˜‚ Iโ€™m trying to really embrace the seasons but thereโ€™s something about autumn (actual autumn with red leaves and cooler temperatures) that I love.
We kinda managed it with the first thread last year!

Iโ€™m officially on AutumnTok and will happily be on it until Christmas.
July tomorrow, when does TK Maxx/Homesense start getting their bits in?
Iโ€™ve seen a few bits in TK Maxx over the last couple of weeks. Not much though, just the odd throw and tea towel. Canโ€™t wait until the candles come in. The last time I went in the candle aisle was empty so I think theyโ€™re making room๐Ÿ‚๐ŸŽƒ

Well B&M have shown bits of their Autumn range on IG and Next are already selling some pumpkin bits on the website so I'd say prob mid July.

Iโ€™m kinda sick of November being contaminated by Christmas? September is so hot these days and Halloween is all spooky. I just want one month thatโ€™s about cosy autumn nights :) Might just turn off all social media and live in a movies and drinks and scenery bubble ๐Ÿ
I don't mind Christmas taking over as such. I still feel Autumnal and we've got bonfire night on Sunday and its my wedding anniversary. I'll admit that I'm thinking of putting some christmas Dec's up alongside my pumpkins.

Although I love Christmas and have nearly finished all my Christmas shopping I do think shops etc should hang back with their Christmas adverts until at least middle/ end of Nov. Everything is so early that as soon as Christmas day is over you never see a Christmas advert or song again even though its still Christmas.

On a happier note The Costa Festive menu is out today๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿฅช๐Ÿชโ˜•๐Ÿฅค
I'm really annoyed with Costa, they got rid of the maple Hazel syrup early in October when it's still Autumn for the Christmas menu. I love Christmas, but the mapel hazel latte was the best drink they've ever done.
