Um, no. I don’t actually believe she knows what a gynaecologist is. She wasn’t being sardonic, stating ‘it may as well have been a gynaecologist who treated my brain damage son’. She referred to the person treating her son as a gynaecologist several times. Also that they ‘founded’ the hospital (which was founded in like the 18th century). It’s fucking embarrassing.I think Hollie’s claim abut the gynaecologist is to suggest that Archie has been treated by the incorrect type of doctor with no expertise in this sort of situation.
She’s a 46 year old mum of 3, she definitely knew what a gynaecologist is.
No, she was claiming a gynaecologist actually treated him, it’s another malpractice/neglect suggestion.Um, no. I don’t actually believe she knows what a gynaecologist is. I do feel bad for the woman. I have a twelve year old son and if he was in the same situation I don’t know how I would react. I do know that I wouldn’t publicise it, especially if it was a suspected suicide.
Trouble is with cases like this and Charlie they’ve demonstrated that they can get those funds together and all that would then happen is the poor kid with no chance of recovery isn’t allowed to die with any dignity and is used as a pawn to further political or career aspirations. Pretty similar to what’s happening now.I hate these type of cases where parents won't accept the reality of the situation. The NHS does not have limitless resources, they would not be suggesting that treatment was withdrawn if they thought that he had a chance of recovery.
My beloved grandmother died last year, she was very elderly but they treated her initially as there was a chance of recovery. Treatment was stopped at the request of the family (we had an LPA) when it became.clear she has suffered a serious stroke which rendered her immobile on one side of her body and unable to speak, she would have had no quality of life whatsoever (she was frail and also had dementia). I found it horrific seeing her so unwell in the hospital bed and it still upsets me when I think about it.
I've long been a proponent of euthanasia with relevant restrictions and I wish my grandmother had been able to have a peaceful death rather than slowly drowning on her own spittle which us what happened.
In similar situations like the Charlie Guard case where the family want a new experimental treatment I think they should have to fund it themselves. The NHS just does not have the money to pay for all of these unproven treatments.
I agree. His Mother is saying no one can re post or use the images posted to Facebook or she will take legal action. I thought once you Uploaded any image to Facebook you couldn’t prevent sharing etc? Not that I would use the pictures. People using them to make wake up gif switch his image are just as odd although I presume the family don’t mean that. The “huns“ and the “babes” are out in force on that FB page. They are embarrassing as they have no knowledge whatsoever of medical technology.
I think the courts need to step in properly now and protect Archie from his mother posting undignified images of him all over FB .
I thought this. It's absolutely devastating but if it was a suicide attempt, they are literally going against the boys wishes. It's absolutely heartbreaking all around, but they are literally watching his body decompose. It's so so sad. It's not a surprise he struggled with his mental health.
She’ll struggle with taking action given she is the one putting the images out there in the public eye and sharing with the press including images of her brain dead son looking emaciated wearing a nappy. Why doesn’t she try simply not sharing any images of him at all.I agree. His Mother is saying no one can re post or use the images posted to Facebook or she will take legal action. This is also her...Her previous name is Lisa Pittaway, and this is her.

I doubt he truly wanted to kill himself, he hung himself off the bannisters while his mum was in the bedroom on the phone. He probably thought he’d easily and quickly be saved.I thought this. It's not something a child would search out and attempt imo .I doubt he truly wanted to kill himself, he hung himself off the bannisters while his mum was in the bedroom on the phone. He probably thought he’d easily and quickly be saved.

I meant as a prank .Sadly, it is. Children's MH services see it.
