Poor Anne doesn't seem to enjoy motherhood - and you know what, I feel for her. She's in it now, and it's a life long commitment. I bet she adores Ralph, you can love your kid and not love being a mother. That's fine. It does affect a relationship too, for a few years. She's very lucky with all the support she gets though. I wish she would acknowledge that.
I have a two year old, I love being a mum. My MIL is nagging me and my husband to book a spa break for a night or two but I know I'd get there and be in the pool thinking "my son would love this pool". He's only going to be this wee, and adore me this much, for a small amount of time. I'm leaning into it. But to each their own, a happy parent is a happy child.
PS Mark is the worst! LOL

With her near nonexistent workload, full-time PA husband and free childcare she already has plenty of space in her life to step away from mum life. She even has more time and opportunity to express herself than most child free people.

They’d better start saving for Ralph’s future therapy too, because “yay, a whole week without him!” is not the flex she thinks it is.

Struggling to see who on earth with more than 2 braincells would pay for her substack when it was blatently obvious from her 30 days of summer outfits series she doesn't actually wear these clothes out in real life, rather just films one outfit after another playing dress up in her changing / rail room  ... not even proper fashion bloggers monetise their fashion content in this way. Be interesting to see how long she manages to keep it up for, probably having to change direction given her tiktok content has been flopping, I guess the next overpriced designer bag won't pay for itself (unless its gifted lol)
it would be interesting if there was some added value to it (which unfortunately for anna also means more work lol) – a few fashion youtubers do that, except their paid content includes sewing videos, personal styling advice, sharing some fashion reseach etc. i think bernadette banner and mina le do something similar on patreon – but anna's regular content has felt the same for the last 5/6 maybe even more years and it doesn't seem to change

It really does seem like a case of "how much more time does she want away from him?" given how often he's looked after by other family etc - I wonder if the low year she referred to in the life coach testimonial was postnatal depression and although her mental health feels better now, she still yearns for her old life and her own space (which is understandable but maybe not to the level she does it!). Is Ralph at nursery? If not that'd be a good way for her to have a breather and for him to socialise and get time away from the mouldy house!

I can't believe she's so gleeful about a week away from him - when I was pregnant I thought we might enjoy the occasional city break without baby, but now he's here I can't imagine more than a few hours or one night at most without him! Like someone else said, I want to show him my favourite places and enjoy them with him, not think "thank duck I've washed my hands of him for a week!". I do appreciate everyone's different though, so maybe for some people that time apart is perfectly healthy!

The state of her brows. Outrageous that she can let herself go and make thousands of pounds shilling beauty products.

Someone above had said how they feel for her for one reason or another.
I have zero sympathy for her, or her ilk.

Slide 6 - did Mark have his haircut done by a hedge trimmer?! I swear he used to have quite nice hair, what happened?!!

Also, he's looking more like Judd Trump (snooker player) than Ryan Gosling!
That dress is gorgeous but those shoes Jesus. No Anna.

Yeah, everyone's different. I completely adore motherhood any my child is my entire world but I can go away for a weekend without her and absolutely enjoy myself! I miss her when I'm not with her but I also think it's nice for her that she's with grandparents/family who love her and really really appreciate having that quality time with her and building their relationship 🥰

Urgh, please can someone explain why you can’t pluck stray brow hairs?? I will go to my grave not understanding this, I swear.

Because for some reason her and Zoe insist on letting their eyebrows go feral between appointments with "the amazing Claire" (I think that's her name?) who repeatedly makes their brows look awful, so I have no idea why they keep going back! Surely once you've got the shape you want it's easy to just do the upkeep yourself, and then you don't have to look like you've rolled your face in iron filings between appointments! I went to get my brows done for the first time ever a few months before my wedding, and the woman who did it literally said afterwards "do you know what, I don't think it's worth you spending money and going through the pain of waxing or threading because you've got a good shape and it'll be easier to just pluck them" - I appreciated her honesty haha!

you mustn't have many eyebrow hairs then! it is possible to pluck the stray hairs in-between appointments but the shape doesn't last forever unfortunately

To be fair, I did the typical early 00s thing of having thin brows so mine probably don't grow back as fully as some people's, but even at their most grown you can see the main shape, and I've noticed with both Anna and Zoe that I can see where their main brow shape should be but they've tried to grow them thicker or left them between appointments so it's hidden amongst a forest of hair - but it's still definitely there!
