https://giphy.com/j5KXVHP198mA2hHtRhThank you Anna for a post that mainly consists of Goodreads-summaries and mentions of her fucking pregnancy every other sentence. Also thank you for telling us about massaging her perineum and including a photo that looks like you're sniffing your fingers.
FUCK.
Lily's video is created by one person working part-time whereas Anna's is created by two full time workers!26k for yesterday’s video… ouch!!
Lily got 34k on her yawnsome folding vlog… which is still really poor compared to their normal stats but still better than Anna’s smugfest.
She’s right. Both Lily and Anna were very junior when they decided to leave their marketing roles to become full time YTers. They’d struggle to get back into the industry - it’s moved on so much and I get the impression they wouldn’t want to start back at the bottom of the ladder. Their content isn’t interesting nor innovative enough to become consultants, and they’d struggle on the speaker circuit. What could they actually do? Anna certainly couldn’t pay her share (and Mark’s!) of the mortgage on a junior marketing salary.Anna has totally checked out, if she was my coworker I would be thinking it's time for her to look for another job. But these full time youtubers are kind of stuck - Mark is dependent on her and well what kind of office job could Anna get / want?
I was watching a video by Lucy Moon recently (before anyone's @'s me I find her equally if not more boring than Anna and only watch the odd video here and there) but she mentioned how all the OG youtubers are burning out and that Emma Chamberlain (who I've heard of but never watched) has just bought herself a massive house but seems absolutely miserable. She basically says that its a big mistake to go full time and that the people that seem the happiest are the ones that do youtube part time and have some other means of income that doesn't rely on their youtube brand.
This! Indeed, I can see how YouTube can be a road to misery…Anna has totally checked out, if she was my coworker I would be thinking it's time for her to look for another job. Wow! This is what happens when you resort to nepotism. The only reason Mark works for her is that he is her husband and that they benefit from it tax-wise. Anyone could have told her it is usually not a good idea to hire family members no matter how much you love them or how much you will profit from it. Most likely, it will eventually backfire as either your business or your relationship will suffer, or even worse, both (not saying they are having relationship problems atm, but one never knows)! It’s so stark the shift from aestically pleasing curated content vs the sloppy amateur content she’s now putting out
She used to be relatable but still professional. She looked put together, and images were considered and well composed. Now it’s so slapdash, doesn’t look like a professional influencers page.
Fire him Anna. Hire an actual assistant who is talented with photography and interested in beauty, fashion and lifestyle. Who will make your job easier not harder!
It's ironic though as Lucy's content is not that great, she doesn't seem all that happy and also she would do anything to be able to buy a massive houseAnna has totally checked out, if she was my coworker I would be thinking it's time for her to look for another job. I just had my dinner... It was a lovely dinner.Thank you Anna for a post that mainly consists of Goodreads-summaries and mentions of her fucking pregnancy every other sentence. I won't further insult your intelligence by pointing out all the grammatical errors, but I did want to highlight "engage in sleep mode".Not only does it help my brain engage with sleep mode, it gives me an escape, a relaxing moment and some time for myself. Time for my brain just switch off and focus on the story, the characters, the atmosphere, I just love it.
