Has anyone tried Skechers sandals and do you know if they’re a narrow fit? I’m pregnant and in this heat my feet are quite swollen. I already have quite wide feet and keen to get some comfy flat sandals.

Is she ND? If so I think you’d need to be very careful about how you then describe your feelings of not wanting to work with her again if you discuss it with your boss.
Not that I know of! Oh no I wouldn’t go to my boss to say I’m not working with her again. I just mean when future projects come up I won’t volunteer if she’s involved.

She’s actually very nice and we work together well for the most part. But we have different outlooks and she often can’t see mine so we end up going around in circles on the same topic which is just annoying and tiring. She also takes things much more seriously than me which delays things.

Don’t listen to Dr Google. If you want get a second opinion from a different dentist. But healthy teeth are really important. Not just for over all health but also self confidence.
I know you are anxious but can anybody else take your child for regular checkups? Ideally at least once a year. This way any issues are caught early and dealt with.
yh i fully understand the importance of it and will go ahead with it. the only reason this is his first time visit to a dentist is because i have been trying to get him an appointment via nhs but unfortunatly no places near me had any availability and had long wait-lists, and i just found an appointment for him. but hopefully ill deal with the anxiousness going forward as his health is the most important thing.

Can I order something in duty free online at Manchester airport and collect it when I land? I can’t find the answer online and I don’t want to take it with me on holiday!

Strikes will often get called off at the last minute but make a solid Plan B. Generally speaking, if tube strikes go ahead, public transport is fucked. Where’s the gig and where are you travelling from?
Euston to the O2 in Greenwich. I was thinking of shelling out for a hotel if the strikes are that bad. But thought maybe there’d be a very pared down service

So recently a cat has taken to shitting next to our bins. Not sure why, or who it belongs to but I have a toddler so I clean up enough 💩 without dealing with this and it’s obviously not safe for him to be near/come into contact with. Any tips for dealing with this?
How sure are you it's a cat? It could possibly be a fox and that is harder to deter. Try buying something like an odour remover. Probably pooping in the same spot because of the smell

I've got a spot of gloss on my good black work trousers 😭. They've been though the wash and it's still there (can only wash at 30). Any tips please 🙏.

Thoughts on pulling sickies at work…?

So I’m a very goodie two shoes staff member, always on time, work hard, don’t pull sickies. But I’m pretty sure colleagues do.

A few months ago I had a couple of sick days because I just didn’t want to go in (I’ve been feeling stressed for a few reasons at work), but I said it was a cold.

Next week I have a meeting with a colleague who is lovely but intense. We’re working on a project together which we’ve been doing for over a year. She gets really into things into levels of detail that drains me. And she can’t let things go when she doesn’t agree.

If I pull a sickie we won’t have to reschedule it cos it’s a prep meeting for another one the next day.

So what do you think? I feel really guilty but at the same time I don’t think I can cope with any more of this! The project will be over soon but I’m mentally exhausted from it and her intensity.

Health related. Please skip if it’s triggering (Not asking for diagnosis).

For the past 2/3 weeks, I have been experiencing daily nausea. From the moment I wake up, until bed time. I vomited an entire day two weeks ago and thought it was good poisining but I don’t think this is the case given how long it’s lasted. I thought it was PMS related but I had my period last week, it’s now ruled out.

I can barely eat because of how nauseous I’ve been. My appetite has severely decreased as well but I’m putting this down on the nausea.

The doctor gave me a prescription to use 5 days, it helped a bit but the moment the prescription ended, the nausea came back instantly.

I have blood tests to do, but I’m honestly exhausted. I was at work today and had to rush to the bathroom multiple times because I felt so unwell.

Has anyone ever experienced this?

I’m worried because I lied haha :/ I think that’s my only way out though.
He’s signed on luckily and he’s been there 1 month short of redundancy! What a bummer!!
Yeah, you’re going to have to come clean. It was a very stupid thing to do and I hope you’ve learned not to do it again.
How would you feel if he did it to you?

I have a mini pill question maybe you can help with.

I’m almost a month in taking cerazette mini pill. Not for contraception (I’m sterilised) for heavy periods.

Now the problem is, I’m feeling very low on it. Moods are shit. Headache is awful.

I want to stop taking it, I’d rather heavy periods than feeling like this. Feel anxious too constantly.

How soon and how long will I bleed for once I stop? Anyone taken it briefly and stopped?

Don’t know whether to just stop, have a withdrawal bleed and wait for my period

I think a hotel is a good idea. Give yourself double the usual amount of time to get there. Whatever mode of transport you use, it will be horribly busy.

How about one of those hire bikes? Or buses?

I think often the difference between looking at people and staring at attractive women is pretty obvious. Unfortunately I often see men who are clearly with their partners blatantly twisting their heads to look at attractive women. I think that's disrespectful.
I still think there’s more to the story. He must’ve either done something to create this behaviour in a partner or she’s paranoid.
My brother has been cheated on and he’s become paranoid and overly sensitive. I’ve talked to him about it as it would drive somebody away. You have to allow a new partner space.
Anyway I would leave if I was told not to look at people.

A friend of mine is selling his van and I'm tempted to buy it - he wants 4k for it, it has a built in vanlife - setup.

But it has over 200k kilometers and I think it's a ford transit from before 2010 which are know to have huge issues with rust. I know he has done some work on it, getting rid of rust as he's really good with welding, so it might not be an issue.

I want to do a 3 month trip to Sweden next year so I have enough time to look for a different car, but I would have to build the whole setup. Plus, I'll be buying in a different country probably which has tax implications too.

I want a reliable car as I will be spending a lot of time on the road. But that is always the risk with used cars, you could buy a lemon and not even know.

I don't know what to do really. Seeing my mechanic on Monday anyway and will ask him too, just thought maybe someone could weight in.
Definitely check underneath the van I know someone who did up a van went on one trip and then it failed the MOT due to bad rust underneath would've cost more to fix than to buy a new one. They think they people she bought it from got a dodgy MOT. When buying a new one he took a mechanic and there were a few they saw that he said would be in the same way in a few months.
Especially if it's been to countries like Norway apparently as the grit they use on the roads apparently sits on the bottom of the van and makes the rust really bad.
