Thanks, as far as am aware I think it's just a map line you move along, it mentioned something about house points as well, can you adjust the time as you go? The harry potter one is quite long so I was thinking if I gave myself quite a few months to do it then if I was managing to do more distance than I thought then I could bring the time down? Or can you just leave the time you have picked an if you finish before it then it's fine?

Are the medals quite good quality as well, this one is quite expensive an I'd be disappointed if the price didn't reflect the quality of the medals, they look like steel in the videos but videos can be off
I’m not sure what they’re made of, fairly sure not steel, but they’re heavy and if you like I can take some pics of the ones I have? I think the price for licensed stuff is because of the license fee rather than them being special and better quality than the normal.
re finishing time, when you’re done distance wise, it’s over. If you’re miles behind you can extend it but it’s basically over when it’s over.

Not really a “problem” but does anybody else feel asexual the older you get? I really can’t be arsed with it all.
I operate on a use it or lose it basis. I switch off after a bit but then my interest comes back fairly easily with activity. If I didn’t have a man, I’m not sure how hard I would pursue finding one given the state of things atm though.

Where I live atm (private rent) is very cheap for the area, and therefore I cannot afford to find somewhere else to private rent.

Does anyone know if I go to the council & explain issues I'm having in my house, if I'd be eligible for homefinder?

I have a young child, single mum working part time.

The issues are: black mould in the kitchen which landlord has said is due to not properly insulating it. Pipe being held together with duct tape. Water leaks through the floor into kitchen (from bathroom floor through to kitchen ceiling and down kitchen walls) damp in the living room (to the point i have flowers growing on the wall inside the house), rotting, broken skirting boards.

Thanks if you got that far!
Have you spoken to Shelter? They will be able to direct you. It sounds horrendous and I hope you get something sorted out.

Very random and frivolous question but WHY do my grey hairs grow in a rogue and whisky fashion? They just point straight up out of my head away from my other hairs as if they’re saying HIIIIIIII!!!! We’re grey hairs! LOOK! SHE IS AGEING!

I have plucked some out this morning because I have to go and get passport photos done, unfortunately they don’t take to dye so it’s annoying and there’s no escape.
I don't know, but my hair is a mix of very fine wavy strands, and coarse curly ones. The only ones that have gone grey so far are the curly pube-like ones

Health related. Please skip if it’s triggering (Not asking for diagnosis).

For the past 2/3 weeks, I have been experiencing daily nausea. From the moment I wake up, until bed time. I vomited an entire day two weeks ago and thought it was good poisining but I don’t think this is the case given how long it’s lasted. I thought it was PMS related but I had my period last week, it’s now ruled out.

I can barely eat because of how nauseous I’ve been. My appetite has severely decreased as well but I’m putting this down on the nausea.

The doctor gave me a prescription to use 5 days, it helped a bit but the moment the prescription ended, the nausea came back instantly.

I have blood tests to do, but I’m honestly exhausted. I was at work today and had to rush to the bathroom multiple times because I felt so unwell.

Has anyone ever experienced this?
I felt weak for 2-3 weeks after food poisoning, it was both ends for 2 days then nausea and unable to eat, feeling faint.

Is there any way you could be pregnant though and the period was implantation? Have you changed anything in your diet/supplements/toothpaste etc that you could be intolerant to?

I honestly don't know, it didn't make any sense to me, I might ask her a few more questions as she's not the most savvy with money (like she thinks she's debt free but I've told her a loan is a debt)
As avabella says more info is needed. it it a settlement fee or settlement figure.
The settlement figure is the total sum required to clear the loan.
The settlement fee is added to the outstanding balance so that the company who loaned still makes money from the transaction since they will no longer be making it from the interest.
If a fee, it sounds like a dodgy high interest loan because £4k on £10k is a high sum.
How can she possibly think she's debt free when she has a loan?!

I really want to glow up my life.
I've accepted that I'm feeling stagnant after a friends wedding. And even though I'm massively confident in some ways, anxiety gets the better of me or my limiting beliefs.
Does anyone have any tips on where to start? I go on tiktok and youtube for advice but there's so many different ways (which i get!!) but has anyone done a 360 on their life?
The book called Atomic Habits gets very good recommendations for making changes etc. I have never read it but it comes up a lot.

I had thought that as well, but we have had no notice, it just started one morning, we aren't right next door, but it's a small cul de sac we are in an we are very close to the house so I'd have assumed we were close enough to have been told

This is of course all assuming they did apply for planning permission an haven't just went an done the work which Tbh the type they are I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't sent requests for it being done
It depends what are being built. A lot of extensions don’t need planning permission anymore. But if you are concerned check with your local councils planning department and maybe also complain about noise

Looking for some advice, been on the mini pill for 3yrs, no problems up until earlier this year when I’ve started to get my period…..3 times a month, bleed for 5/6 days, finish for about the same time then start to bleed again, went to my GP did swabs/pregnancy test all negative, having awful pelvic, back, stomach & thigh pain too, pelvic pain always on the right side, told GP this, said was normal for my age mid 40’s although too young for menopause! No suggestion to change my pill or blood tests, I’m so tired all the time, moody etc….made yet another appointment but got to wait a month to see a nurse practitioner as no GP available, just feeling I’m not being listened to at all & my age is to blame!
Too young for menopause (even though that just means you’ve gone a full 12 months with no period) but right age for peri menopause. I turned 40 earlier in the year and I feel like know my body less and less. But as someone else said - the fact that they’re not checking for fibroids or anything else is so disregarding! I am so sorry they aren’t actioning more things - especially given it’s been happening for a prolonged period of time (not just a couple of months).

Random problem, an not sure if it's worth seeing a doctor or not, an Tbh not sure how to even describe it to them an if they will take it seriously

At night when in bed I start to feel super uncomfortable with either an arm or leg etc, it's strange like it's not painful of anything it just doesn't "feel" right if that makes sense, its like a wrong feeling, almost like that feeling you get when you put shoes on the wrong feet, it's not painful it's just a strange uncomfortable feeling that you know is wrong

It's random with what it will be an when I get it, last night it was my right arm, an it's starting to keep me up all night because no matter what I do the feeling just won't go an I can't get comfortable, by morning after I've managed to sleep am back to being fine again

Has anyone else suffered from this? I don't know what could be causing it
Have you got a new mattress or are you due a new one? It maybe your mattress is old and springs have gone without you knowing.

I know this is an odd suggestion!

Like I said, I’m not asking him to deliver into my apartment at all. This would be absolutely unrealistic and not his job.

However, there is a difference between me having to pick up the item on the other side of the street where he was parked (about a 5 minutes walk from my actual building) and getting them in front of the building entrance where I’d seen him deliver on multiple occasions this past week.

I know it’s not the retailer’s responsibility but if the retailer or shipping company has been transparent about their delivery limitations, I simply wouldn’t have purchased from/with them and would have gone down the IKEA route.

The items were two tables.

If I wear a blazer over the top of this will it look strange because of the neckline?
Nah I don’t think it’ll look strange. Doooo you need a blazer tho. You will be covering a few extra inches of shoulder skin that’s it?🤣

I’ve seen a job that I’m really interested in applying for. It’s still within the NHS but it’s a different department that I’m not too familiar with. I’ve read through the person spec and job description and I already tick a lot of, if not the majority, of what they’re looking for. I’ve worked in the NHS long enough to know that doesn’t really mean much though so I am REALLY hoping to nail the application and make sure that I’m giving myself the best chance of being successful.

I plan on going through the person spec and job description again and writing examples of how I meet each point, for anything I don’t meet/have no experience with I plan to write a close example and how I would apply that to what they’re looking for. I’ll then put these examples together and use it for the application itself. I think I’m also going to get in touch with the point of contact on the job advertisement to ask for more information and potentially a visit to the department if they allow it.

Is there anything else I should be doing? I tend to overthink job applications and end up word vomiting or go off on a tangent and miss the point completely (although that’s more in interviews I guess). What are the best questions to ask when getting in touch with the department, asking for more information about the job seems a bit too obvious? I have a few weeks before the closing date so thankfully don’t need to rush🤞🏼

I think it often happens, especially to women, in long term relationships. Honestly not really sure how to help it tbh, my hormones are all in appropriate range so not sure what it could be 🤔
Is it bad that I don't want it back 😆 I'm happy just watching telly instead of getting steamy!

Tbf Ive never been overly sexual anyway.

They’re not particularly cheap but you can buy cat flaps with chip sensors, if yours wear collars, so only they can get in.
Or even the bowls that open with the chip. My cats have these I got them from FB mp but I also see the microchip cat flaps for sale second hand

My next door neighbours seem to be away & their kids having a party, this started at about 16:00 & they’re so drunk if I go round there I will lose it.
I feel horrendous & just want to sleep/rest & they’re blaring music. I need to be up early for work so can’t really go stay elsewhere. Is there anything I can do?
Definitley call noon emergency number. If you state there is underage drinking (whether there is or not, although there probably is) they should go round and hopefully intervene

Sadly didn’t think to take a picture before the rain started, but does anyone happen to know what kind of animal does little curled poops? We’ve got something in our garden leaving 10p size presents all over our decking that look just like the poo emoji, totally curled up smooth symmetrical poop, and my Google searches are starting to get a little unhinged trying to work it out….

Trying to distance myself from people that I’ve outgrown. Not happening very easily. Any advice on how to politely remove myself from their lives without too many questions/accusations that I’m being ‘off’ with them?
Depends if they've got rhinoceros hides!! I had a former friend who completely freaked me out with an unexpected incident and I was desperate never to talk to them again but had to as our children were at the same school. In the end, I actually moved my child (not just to do with this, they weren't doing very well academically) and the relief of being able to go no contact was bliss.
