I'm not sure what you are selling but I would make a little bit of stock, not a huge amount and then maybe you could offer made to order

Thanks, it will mostly be things like candles, keyrings, crochet etc so easy enough things that can be made quickly enough
Am just unsure if you can only put up say 10 of something or a site like etsy expects you to have 100 of something before selling
Well from what I've seen some sellers will sell one of an item and maybe only have 10 items on the site and others will sell 10 of one item. I don't think there are any set rules
You can list as many or as little as you like. I run a supply shop on there.
The fees are quite high but I make a reasonable income from it with no effort on mypart.
I didn't realise there was quite high fees, I might rethink as I wouldn't be taken much for things, just a few pound, but I'd still need to make a profit

My second learner permit has expired and I only have one more learner permit renewal allowed before having to re-sit the theory test all over again etc. You’re only allowed 3 learner permits.

I’m therefore wondering if it’s even worth it for me to reapply for the learner permit and book a test given my track record. Or maybe I should abandon the idea of getting my license once and for all.

Would you consider doing an intensive week long course? A lot of people have a success with that.
in any case, I didn’t have anyone to do lessons with except paying my instructor and I passed on my third go.
Towards the date of the test we did 2 hour lessons twice a week to get me really test-ready.
I would say it depends. Why are you failing? If it’s just that you are struggling to get the hang of it then I would rethink it.
It’s the gear mainly. Tried automatic, didn’t like it.

Do automatic. It's easier and if the gear is what's keeping you failing then you need to think of all the money you are wasting because you don't want to drive an automatic

I learnt auto as I learnt to drive at 30 and didn't get on with gears when I originally tired at 17 so knew it would be miles quicker without gears
It sounds silly but I don’t understand it. I think it probably has to do with the instructor though because his English was poor and I couldn’t understand a thing he was teaching me. I had 3 lessons then I stopped because I absolutely hated those lessons.
Maybe I should give auto a go with a different driving school.
Comparability with your instructor goes a really long way. The one who got me through my test was a funny bugger but he was a brilliant instructor and I still hear him telling me little tips and tricks when I’m driving today - and I passed about 13 years ago
he actually got my sister through her test years before that so it’s really worth getting recommendations from people.

There's not that much to understand about automatic tbh so just get a different instructor and try again. I passed in a manual but always hated changing gears and now only drive automatic, wouldn't change it. In the future all cars will be automatic anyway. You can pay so much more attention to the road as well as you're not thinking about gears.
And I always enjoy leaving the people in manual cars well behind me at the lights, change your gears losers, I'm off beep beep
Are you meaning grocery or restaurants/ takeouts? An are you UK
If your UK then I believe all the grocery shops are open now, Tesco, Asda, Morrisons etc, most places only shut Xmas day now, if it's restaurants or take outs then I guess it would depend on them, I'd assume most take out places will be open as normal

Was out today and hit a little bollard in the car. No damage done thankfully. But received a call this evening to say that I also hit a car. I did stop and take a look around me after I’d hit the bollard and didn’t see any damage done to the car next to it. But they’re claiming it’s on cctv footage and I’ve damaged their back bumper which is a bit strange seeing as I was literally parked next to their car and drove out of the space. Their car was facing the same way. No damage done to my car but this particular person is claiming that my paint is on their car but there’s not even as much as a scrape on mine?? Asked for photos and they won’t send! What do I do
If they don’t have any evidence that you caused the damage how can they expect you to pay? For all you know, the paint was already on their car and they saw you going into the bollard and thought they’d try and get you or your insurance to pay for it.
