I keep making duvet mistakes
I used to buy duvets and they were nice with a little weight and stayed flat but the last few have been so lightweight ( even the winter ones) that they wont stay flat but bundle up in the cover also the fabric isn't like fabric at all more like the paper dresses and knickers from the 60s/70s . I am looking for the older types with prober fabric and a little weight to them.
Help!! please point me in the right direction without having to spend a fortune

I usually find it any called ‘value’ or ‘budget’ etc that have that finish. John Lewis, Dunelm and M&S might be worth a check for the sale. They’re usually good.

We also have the most amazing soft duvet I bought of amazon and it weren’t even that expensive, a Slumberdown Cosy Nights Kingsize cost £18.70 in Sept
Mine is a “like down” from Argos - Silentnight I think. Launder it every 2/3 years at the laundromat and it’s still in perfect condition. Duvets - my absolute favourite is a mid range one from Ikea. It has a cotton type outer (I'm not sure if it is) and a proper edging to it, not just a seam. I'll see if I can find it.

Try Gonzo stain remover. In my experience, there's nothing it won't remove.

Weirdly saw a tip about this on insta the other day, apparently shaving foam is brilliant for getting foundation off collars. I’ve not tried it but I did Google it and it does seem to be a thing.
Anyone successfully got money back from Fitbit? My husband has just been charged £80 for a premium subscription (no emails, no in app warnings) and when he contacted the company he said “they don’t refund subscriptions”, instead we have to ask Apple for our money back. Apple say no chance because they’re a third party. I mean it’s fine it’s not like we wanted to eat this month or anything.
Haven't gotten money back but I did get my Fitbit watch changed after it was faulty an they at first weren't going to do anything about it, so I blasted them on twitter an you bet they dealt with it within a few days an I got a new watch sent out, company's HATE being called out on platforms everyone can see an are usually quick to talk to you one on one to sort it
Have you tried looking at the small print? Sometimes some might say they have a cancellation period if the date the subscription started is under 2 or 3 days when you want to cancel, I can't see apple dealing with it if it's from Fitbit, but if he has never signed up for it then I'd keep at Fitbit for it back

Just thought I’ll give an update. Been back in work since Monday, she won’t even look me in the face or has said a word to me at all
whenever I’m in the room she ether leaves or looks away to talk to someone else. mom only finding it funny as it took that one incident for her to actually leave me alone
Have you tried a nail brush? You could also take it to the dry cleaners and see if they can help
This stuff is excellent, but test it on an inconspicuous area first just to make sure it's safe on the cushions. I normally pick it up in one of the pound shops for a couple of quid.

My downstairs toilet keeps making a weird noise which I can only describe as a sigh. It was funny at my first, my kids howl at it but now it’s getting ridiculous. Sometimes there doesn’t seem to be enough water in it. How do I resolve it? The noise is starting to becoming more of a howl
