Does anyone know how long it takes to get blood results (Full Blood Count, Renal, Thyroid, Liver Function etc..)?

I got my blood drawn on Thursday morning but I haven’t hear anything yet. I’m a bit worried as I still have a lump on my neck that’s been there since late October. I don’t think it’s anything to be worried about but I’m anxious to get some answers as to why I’ve been feeling off.

I would assume your doctors would have them monday or Tuesday.

My own query, how would you distance yourself from a friend when you also have mutual friends and tend to 'hang out' quite a bit.

They are really playing with my mental health. Moan I don't do anything with her child, when I take the mutual friends child out quite alot but whenever I suggest anything Im always turned down or never given a full answer. My mutual friend is now stopping me taking her child out because the other friend keeps complaing.

She hides things constantly from me, always wants to know the ins and outs of my life though. Its mentally draining being her friend. Its very obvious she prefers the mutual friend, to the point I wonder if she even fancies her. Theres alot of jealousy from her whenever I go out alone with the mutual friend.

Im exhusted from it all. I want to stay friends with the mutual but I need to distance myself from the other friend to protect me. I worry noone will understand, Ill look like the bad guy and end up losing everyone.

Have you got the NHS app? They'll appear on there when they come in. I think it's usually around 5 days.
I'm the same at the min with worrying about an undiagnosed heath issue, waiting for appointments and answers so I really feel for you. All this press about the NHS makes the worry worse, if I'm not getting the right service etc. I'm trying to avoid it.

Two working days usually but that's UK, GP. Hospital's can be longer, maybe a week.

Guys the loneliness is real! I hardly see anyone and mostly it's just my company. It's making me sooo sad! Even my fro called friends when I ask to meet for brew don't bother to respond.

how can I start making new friends! It's getting me down so much

Try some meetup groups or join a group with similar interests to you.
I joined meetup years ago and it had some really good groups on there

My friend set herself a challenge where she tried a new group every week for a year she made loads of friends (only about half a dozen have lasted) but she had so much fun and tried all sorts of random things, it boosted her confidence beyond belief, and she’s more happier making new friends when she meets new people now. Maybe a year is too long but perhaps trying some really random things (home made board games, anyone?) and see what happens

Did you have the flu jab in October?

I had very similar when I had the flu jab (yeeeeeears ago) a lump came up on my neck and it was very prominent. I had the jab in October and the lump came up. I went to the doctors about it in the January because it got to the point I had to keep my hair down so you couldn’t see it. I had to go for a fine needle biopsy on it and it came back no risk, it was a lymphnode. They actually offered to remove it for me because theysaid it wouldn’t go down. I wasn’t sure I wanted that and they said I could think on it, so I said I would let them know, anyway, by two weeks following it had gone down. But by this point it was March I think, so it was a long time.

the reason I ask about the flu jab is because mine coincided with that and I think my lymphnode tried to fight the “infection” and came up it just never went. I have the same under my arm.

No, I’ve never had the flu jab. This lump came out of nowhere in October (wasn’t sick then or anything) and hasn’t left since. I wish I could link it to something that happened around the time in appeared, but there was no particular event.

Once the stain is dry, get some Fuller's Earth powder from the chemist and sprinkle it on the stain. Leave it for a few minutes, then go in with your suede brush, (as a previous poster said, go gently) and voila, stain gone
