I think she knew what the person meant but thought she was trying to be rude so Terry was being on the defensive! When actually the woman was trying to give a compliment although I don't see why being skinny should be complimented.

every other nurse I know even the ones via agencies that just get emergency cover calls are restricting their movements but not Terror

Totally. Read the fiction book 'unfiltered' by Sophie White - all about influencers in Ireland. Highlights how bland and shallow their lives really are 
lets not forget the numerous restaurants too.Quick scan of her grid to me looks like she’s been out 7 times, including 2 hotel stays since Dec 12th...so in 9 days. Ffs it is so pitiful to have a life that shallow, but y’know “wanderlust” and all

I’m baffled by her. It’s people like her that are the reason cases are getting out of control. A total headfuck like....imagine patient X laying in hospital. Tests positive for covid even though they’d be shielding. It’s highly possible that this idiot would be carrying the virus all over wards

The workplace can't tell you how to spend your time, but I work in healrhcare and we have all been given guidance regarding socialising to keep in mind over Christmas.
Are they in a position where they cant over fear that she may not want to work?
I imaging they know, but need all the help they can get so need to stay on good terms with agency staff, else they wont be willing to assist?
Off topic, but are we going into lockdown on Christmas Eve? Will we not be allowed go outside the county? I thought we weren’t going into lockdown until January or the 28th December at earliest.

Tbh if i was in a different county for xmas day i'd take it that i can travel back to my home county when i want as its essential. But from the 26th i cant move between them for 'pleasure'
I live with my parents so it doesnt effect me. But i did previously live and work in a county different to my home county. If i was still doing that i'd stay for the holidays and then travel back thd day before i'm due to work, which i would class as 'essential'.
Thats my reading of it, dont come st me if i'm wrong folks!!
