Is there anyway that you can prove they have broken the contract? (Not sure what the contract is)
They have disclaimers about speaking to a medical professional if you have an eating disorder. That being said, when I repeatedly told the coaches I’d had disordered eating in the past, I got a lot of “oh that’s tough” type comments and no mention of speaking to my dr. Unlike when I asked if it was safe for my son to have protein powder and they immediately said that I shouldn’t without a drs advice, I was only asking as they encourage you to bake with it and I’d seen baking el saying more protein is probably a good thing for most kids etc... they are all so unqualified to be giving any advice honestly.

Show em who's boss 👊👊👊👊
Thank you so much for your advice. This is all a chore. ❤

From what I can remember, Munro was a part of RH Fitness and lost weight. He then set up an identical business. Now I don’t know the ins and outs but I have been members of both groups and I know when I received the ‘welcome’ bumf from Munro it was IDENTICAL to RH! From what I can gather, Munro has since gone and got himself a more in-depth education on all things nutrition and Ritchie is still talking about Betty and bumholes!

You’re right, Munro was a “coach” on RH before it properly took off then went off and formed his own company. I think some of his content is very similar to RH however what Richie forgets is that he didn’t actually invent caloric deficit! At the time it did seem a bit sneaky of Munro but given all the horror stories coming out now about Richie I don’t blame the guy for cutting ties with him. Munro has actually got a nutrition qualification now which is something and his content seems well thought out and professional, although from what I’ve seen he has people on relatively low calories and very high protein so it’s potentially not particularly sustainable for lots of people. I think he charges a fair bit more as well but not sure how much.

RH another bleeping cockwomble. His USP of being a bleep is flawed. Eat less move more... hardly bleeping ground breaking you large headed bleep.

Yes I don’t blame him, although at the time they were meant to be friends so I can see why RH was pissed. That’s not the kind of friend you want but what like you said RH didn’t invent cal counting. I wasn’t on mega low calories. Protein was high but that seems to be every online PT’s angle ‘eat MORE protein’. I mean if you are eating a high protein diet you need to make sure your fibre is take is adequate otherwise you’ll be constipated for days! The amount of people I saw eating protein ‘everything’ and not one piece of fruit of veg was seen.

Absolutely, I really struggle with protein as I’m not a huge meat eater and not a massive fan of dairy either. I felt so under pressure on RH being told “just buy and eat high protein foods” - it’s not as simple as that if the foods give you the boke! 🤣

Wow I never knew that!
I saw a fitness expert talking about it, so started doing some research. All these people smashing back the protein, and even going over on it... really bad. The MAXIMUM you should have is one third of your daily calorie allowance.

Wow I never knew that!

makes for some interesting and actually scientifically based reading.

Unless someone is bodybuilding they don’t need the high amounts of protein that’s being recommended. A balanced diet (all 3 macros) is best unless you have a health concern (epilepsy and have been advised to do a high large, low carb diet). I found that people were adding scoops of protein powder to porridge, yogurt, having a protein shake, chicken wraps, protein bar, high protein tea followed by another shake. For someone wanting to lose weight, it’s not necessary. There are plenty of non meat protein sources but you’d have to eat bucket loads to hit the protein target set.

But Richie know it all used to say if your 1 gram short of your protein goal, you are a thick tit who needs to watch is videos to understand his plan! Zzzzzz

What is the hole on about today?

video 1: bangs on about how someone isn’t losing because they aren’t eating within protein/fibre recommendations even although they are in a caloric deficit. He says they are eating rit so that’s why.

video 2 (only a few hours later).: “I could eat McDonald’s every single day in a caloric deficit and still lose large. It’s not the foods that you eat, it’s being in a caloric deficit “

make up your mind fuckwit

This is what I don’t get? Like I believe the caloric deficit thing. It’s science and it’s proven but why do macros matter?

So, I’m vegan , I literally live of fruit and veggies and quinoa rice etc and although I get plenty of protein through nuts, tofu and legumes I’d say my macros are around 20 large/50 carbs/30 protein. I’m only 115 pounds but I’m trying to get to 100 (pre baby weight) I am steadily loosing 2 pounds a week just by being in a caloric deficit. My hubby who was 18 stone has lost 1.5 stone in 5 weeks doing the same thing!
There is no scientific evidence that you need to up your protein to lose weight! Unless your body building and wanting to really shred down and get rid of any “water weight” you don’t need to eat predominantly high protein foods .
