Thank you!! ❤ I will!

I know I thought the language on that one was revolting even for him 🤮
This was one reason I didn’t like the group, I couldn’t listen to any vids around the kids as some of the language was horrendous- I don’t mind the odd swear word, but when he’s saying things like “stop fingering you a-hole”
It’s something else

Yeah it used to be a bit of a running joke, Richie swears a lot - oops! There's a difference with saying the odd swear word when the context isn't offensive & then there's this. Scraping the barrel to be disgusting and insulting. Some of the comments were saying things like I need to hear this. No one needs to hear that, no one at all. This lacks tact & basic decency.

Imagine if the only way you could make money was to con people into signing up for 12 months then sell debt on to debt collectors 😂
Great, sustainable business plan there guys! 👍🏼

Was watching James Smith this morning and he mentioned how much of his content they steal hence why I’m having a nosey. It’s so true! The swearing sounds so inauthentic

I think if they state 12 month plan then people should expect to pay for 12 months. Most companies have T&C’s online and they are usually hidden away somewhere. It’s not right that they have debt collectors in and personally I think Ritchie is a d*ck but people do need to be more careful when signing up for things online.

I don't know why anyone would want to be associated with that. The only thing that would motivate me to do is steer clear of someone so unprofessional, how else does this manifest itself in the rest of their business? If this is them putting their best face forward then what's their worst?
You don't need to have a high level of intelligence by any means but think before you post, think beyond the realms of your own train of thought. Take it Richie manages their IG account? Someone else should take the reigns.
He does not celebrate his own birthday and has even convinced his partner to do the same (certainly in previous years). He does not understand how people do not put their diet ahead of happiness, friends and family. What an utter sociopath!

I'm not offended by it either but i think the thing about crappy areseholes is just going too far. I can't see him attracting new custom by talking like that and people will definitely leave so it will have a negative effect on his buisness.
Unfortunately some lap it up and are still under their spell. That IG post looks like it has been written by an 11 year old chav

Agreed!
I also saw the track your kids post on FB using whatsapp and thought I wonder if that's how he keeps tabs on Rach?
He's all about control!
I do not know how people can't see it, they are the absolute opposite of couple goals in my opinion.

I was almost like this at one point and it is no way to live. On my 17th birthday I got blackout drunk off vodka because I hadn’t eaten anything all day to save calories. I wouldn’t have gone out at all if it wasn’t for the fact my friend had the same birthday and organised a night out. My step mum made me a cake and I took it into college on the Monday so it would get eaten but didn’t have any myself, I remember being literally scared of eating it! I can’t believe he’s encouraging people to be like this (not the drinking part but I was reading through comments on one of his posts earlier and did see people saying they’d forsaken food for alcohol to stay in calories). He’s deranged! Thankfully I am nothing like this anymore, as I said yesterday it’s my birthday this week and I’m eating what I want!

I’ve joined recently on the annual plan and have found it helpful so far, but understand the comments made here.

My husband signed up to the monthly plan and, to be frank, he’s not one for reading things carefully. When he got an email explaining he had to set up a direct debit and I told him it was a 12 month contract on the monthly he said ‘well forget that’ and didn’t proceed.

So he’s paid £6.99 but never downloaded, installed the app, or set up a direct debit.

Is it likely that he’s simply lost £6.99 and that’s the end of that, or based on what I’ve read above should I expect he’ll now be subject to debt collection if he doesn’t set this direct debit up? :(

Yeah their plan (it is common knowledge calories, so technically nothing they created) is fine, it is the person at the top just is not squeeky clean in my opinion.
Sounds likely that if he does not pay his monthly fee they will be coming after payment unfortunately.

Fairly certain consumer law is that you have 14 days to cancel a subscription so if I was him I wouldn’t ignore it, I would contact them and say he wants out.

Thanks for the comments. He contacted them and it’s all sorted, appears they were very helpful!

I don’t think their method is to everyone’s taste, but the basic principle of course makes sense. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I do feel like I’m eating too many carbs though! Such a switch from previous ‘one piece of bread a day’ diet plans.

Not lost anything in the first week, but I don’t have much to lose so the margin for error is smaller and I went to Zizzi last night. 😂

Really? Who did you contact Ashbourne or Team RH? Maybe it's because you were in the 14 day period?

When your 12 months are up how do you cancel?
I emailed them through their website helpdesk a week or so before my year was up and told them I didn’t want to renew. I received a reply to say that the plan doesn't auto renew and I wouldn’t be billed further. It was only a few weeks ago so I’ll keep checking my bank account this month just in case, but I was automatically logged out of the app on the day my subscription ended. I can still see the members FB page though.

Thank you to whoever created this thread; it basically confirmed what I’d been feeling about Team RH for several months now. I just thought I must be wrong as everyone else seems to find them great. The principle of what they’re teaching is fine I just can‘t stand the constant bad language, and I’m not someone who gets offended or shocked by it but I find it unnecessary and unprofessional, and Richie’s better than everyone else/bullying attitude annoys me. Plus they now seem to be more about selling their merchandise.

I joined 8 wks ago, up/down the same few lbs. Stuck 100% on plan for 3 full weeks, no change so contacted a coach who told me my cals were fine (well obviously not) tried to push protein powder heaps and eventually lower my cals by 200. Well nope can't do it. I actually feel sick after a few days of so many cals, coach wasn't having a bar of it. So just deleted standing order and duck him. In not in the UK so not sure what Ashbourne can do but block block block.

In Scotland it’s much harder for debt collectors to do anything about sold on debts.

If you’re in Scotland and happy to do it, just rubber ear any debt collection agents (applies to any unsecured debt). No idea how this affects your credit rating though.

So glad I found this thread! I have been a member since last November and in that time had a major depressive episode and gained a stone, but made to feel like a lazy waste of space because 'no excuses!'. Sent my cancellation email to Ashbourne tonight and joined Preece nutrition, so thank you for the recommendation! I am another who thinks all is not well for Rachael, he is definitely controlling. I want to comment on their videos sometimes and say 'blink 3 times if you're being held against your will hun'.

You will be most welcome in the Preece Nutrition group. Totally agree about Rachael, he cannot possibly be a good partner when he is so controlling and blatantly lacks normal human emotion and empathy.

I joined for a couple of months but didn’t really feel like I got much from it. Once you have watched the exercise videos there weren’t any new ones The calorie tracking uses My Fitness Pal, which is a free app.

My particular annoyance was ‘El’ and her marching on Facebook, who is she, she is irritating as!
