I wonder how many of those followers/members are active on their pages or how many are like I was, dipping in and out but eventually signed up then after a few weeks got fed up but just never bothered to unfollow the members page. I followed them on and off for a while before signing up last summer but I clearly missed all the bullying as I’d never have joined if I’d seen that going on. I wonder how many others are the same. I have to say though, for some that I’ve noticed on there it’s like they’re part of a cult and they hang off his every word. To start with I liked his no BS approach but then I grew tired of the constant and unnecessary bad language and him coming across like a schoolboy trying to say those words to his mates for the shock value.Over 250k followers, not just their 50k members. People get blinded by the fact calorie counting is the truth, so they associate them with honesty, and second that with Rachel smiling, surely they are both angels? Then you look at the absolute path of destruction/enemies they have made, that is when people need to ask questions, are they really nice people?
He must get reported to Facebook regularly, he’s had bans in the past. What an absolute cunt
Shame there's nowhere to report him to for his bad practices.
Ashbourne management were prosecuted in 2011 for sending people fake debt collection letters and unfair, illegal contracts. I doubt they have cleaned up their act, that's probably why team rh wants to work with them, they're as shady as them.He said a few years ago on a live along the lines of ''come join us, learn this for life and then you can leave'' (paraphrasing there), but now they are locking people into contracts.
Ashbourne management are getting a lot of stick here, however I still think (I may be wrong) that the final say is with Team RH. The reason I think this is because Ashbourne management do a lot of collections for gym memberships, since lockdown I have not seen one person saying they are getting debt letters from Ashbourne management for their gym payments, I imagine the gym has placed a hold on payments. So if that is the case, I think Team RH should be able to do the same IF they want to.
Exactly, there is so much smoke in this instance that there must be fire. I know other people in the industry etc such as James Smith are not people's cup of tea, but they do not have these horror stories coming out about them.
How many times as a follower/supporter of them do you see them being the ''victim'' again, and not actually start to realise maybe it is actually them all along?
I'm getting the same, along with made up random charges of £48.00, then £30-oddSo I joined team rh in February
Followed it for a couple weeks
Tried to keep up with their social media pages
Then in the middle of covid realised I hadn’t been using it and find it utterly useless
Contacted them to cancel ...Ofcourse they went on about this 12 month contract
I’ve cancelled my direct debit
And ever since been getting threatening emails from Ashbourne
I did not physically sign a contract so not sure what leg they have to stand on
I told them I could no longer afford it and I wasn’t using any of their services
The constant emails is just dragging me down!
I recently seen their app and it was trying to sell scales on the part where you get weighed. Standard business sense some will say, but it is just so apparent in my opinion they are all about money over the morals of when they first started. Maybe they were always like this and now the mask has slipped.Pulling up a chair as I’m interested to see what people have to say.
I can’t complain personally at the moment as I haven’t had any issues but hearing what a few others have said has opened my eyes. I must admit though that I don’t like how when they started out they were all about not trying to sell and push things like protein powders on people and now they have their own range of protein powder. They seem to have changed over the years but not in a good way and are now making money on the things they used to slate others for.
They have so many followers they jump on the smaller people with smaller followings. I personally think it was disgraceful the way they went on with an ex affiliate last year who stood upto them. They seemed decent when they started out a few years ago but it’s all unravelling now. He’s lost almost all of his affiliates and qualified staff, but blames it on all of them, and the “coaches” who respond to queries don’t have any official qualifications as far as I’m aware. He makes out as though he’s not in it for the money but is making millions now. He can be really unkind to people, much as I don’t mind the occasional bit of tough love and straight talking, I can’t stand bullying!
I’m sure James Smith got involved and offered his legal team to help one of the ex affiliates from RH as they were hounding her. RH seems to think he invented calorie deficit and won’t let anyone mention James Smith or anyone similar. I don’t have any advice about Ashbourne sorry, but I’m engraged on behalf of you all. Ideally someone like James Smith or Rebelfit would publically call RH out for what he’s doing, as he wouldn’t like that tarnishing his image.Exactly the same story.
Signed up in Feb. Shocking App. Shocking quality of videos. Facebook Lives lasting ages to get a simple message across.
Cancelled DD after a horrendous time trying to access the app.
Now Ashbourne is asking for £28 to cover the payment and their fee. When it bounces again next month, will they demand another £28?
Thankfully on James Smith Academy now and learning (and losing fat) so much more. On his live video yesterday somebody asked if he gets on with Team RH. He said no. They have blocked him from all platforms without any explanation despite no interaction.
Anyone with any advice around Ashbourne not affacting my credit score? Took years to improve and now rosea nosed twat is ballsing it up for me.![]()
This is something that really needs changed because it is health and wellbeing. It's dangerous to allow any old clown to be dealing with people's mental and physical health when there's no one to regulate them. It's a free for all which is a shambles and really needs somethi g done about it. This idiot is case in point.Unfortunately the fitness/wellness industry is wildly unregulated. Hence why they can sell skinny teas and lollipops and all sorts of useless shit. He makes fun of that stuff, but also uses it all to his advantage by getting away with a lot of nonsensical and over the top claims himself.
This is what I’ve done with Preece. Lost nearly two stone and now just try to exercise regularly and be a bit more mindful when I eat. I’ve stayed in the group as it’s a nice, supportive place to be.I’m already a member of Preece Nutrition, he’s great but I still feel like i’m going to be thinking about and planning every little thing i eat forever! Hopefully I can follow his plan, get to my goal weight then maintain using mindful eating!
Thank goodness you got out when you did. It’s sad that others won’t see the damage caused until too late.I signed up to TRH last September. I'd heard nothing but good things on social media sites and the reviews on trust pilot seemed overwhelmingly positive (now I know why) and it was such a waste of £50. I only lasted a few weeks. Some annoying things that happened...
It was nice to get a much higher calorie limit - I'm 5'0 and, despite having around 8 stone to lose, most TDEE calculators will default me to 1200 because of my height - but the protein limit was insane at 134g per day. Anyone asking about meeting protein on the facebook group was slammed as an idiot who didn't read the ultra basic image of high protein foods. In an ideal week I'll have 4/5 fully plant based days and, despite RH repeatedly saying that it was easy to meet any protein requirement on a vegan diet without protein powder I worked out it would take 7.7 big cans of chickpeas to get that amount of protein, which would also be the entire calorie amount allowed. Even on days where I had some fish or meat I struggled to get to 134g because I didn't want it for every meal.
Getting in 15,000 steps was exhausting. I'm WFH and it would take me around one hour to do 5,000 steps so I'd start work at 7, finish at 4 then go straight out (rain or shine) and walk as fast as possible non-stop until 7. I walk very slowly (a combination of tiny legs, asthma, and being large) compared to most people but I felt like a failure if I didn't get my steps in. He would say in the lives that when he was calling people lazy for not getting their steps he wasn't referring to people with health conditions but it sounded insincere whenever he said it. I think he was just pissed off that people had kept calling him out for it.
Someone mentioned on the group that they had a can of diet coke (2 calories) and the TRH app had logged it as 50 calories. They were told that there are some unhealthy foods/drinks that the app classes as more calories in order to stop you having them often. At this point I couldn't trust their app anymore.
The final nail in the coffin though was when RH started banging on about calories in medicines. He posted a huge rant about how people are so stupid because they don't know about calories in prescription medication and don't bother to count it because they're lazy and obviously don't give a damn about losing weight. For things like cough sweets (100 calories for 3) I could possibly understand but I was sitting there trying to work out how many calories were in my asthma tablets and panicking about taking them incase they were too high.
Luckily I gave my head a wobble, realised I could potentially become dangerously obsessed if I stayed there and deleted the app. I felt for ages like I was the only one who had an issue with them because, again, I hear nothing but good things. Pleased I've found this thread and it isn't just me who was bothered by their approach.
It’s quite frankly worrying how blinkered some of his fans areOn a budget fb group and a single mum asked for ideas on ways to lose weight. Someone said Team RH and I said beware of the contact if it doesn’t work, bearing in mind it’s a budget fb page and she’s a single mum...
well the teamrh cult didn’t like it(Hope these are in the right order)
What is illegal or harmful about the content in her review which that idot flagged? MIts back on , trustpilot have seen sense!

He would go to the website/forum owner to get this thread pulled, he would not publicise on his page what has been mentioned on here incase people actually start to put 2 + 2 together from what has been said. They can't know this thread exists or he'd be here slinging all kinds of insults .
