It’s all bs. I work for a SaaS provider but previously we were a software house with a product that could be bespoked per client. Even our biggest most famous household name world leading client didn’t pay anywhere near the numbers he’s quoting. He’s talking out of his arse. He obviously didn’t clearly define his requirements to his software house, nor do his due diligence on his contract with the software house. None of which is their problem, it’s HIS.He’s always so hard done by
I also know how difficult as an experienced software house/SaaS provider it is to recruit a good quality, experienced development team. There’s no way he or any of his team have the know how to recruit the right people, so yeah he’ll be crying us a river again when this latest attempt also goes t1ts up.
It’s clear he’s never heard ‘if you pay peanuts, you get monkeys…’ if you want the best and for them to deliver your vision you have to be prepared to stump up for it.
And considering not one of his team is QUALIFIED in their own field (sorry fan girl Emma, certified is not the same as qualified, go get a university degree in the field and then call yourself qualified), he expects to employ a qualified, experienced software team for pennies, so you can imagine exactly how world class this new app is going to be
