The tic toc content is so lame, so desperate and is so clearly a millennial couple trying to stay relevant and young and ‘cool’. I feel like it’s when your mum and all her mates joined Facebook in 2011 (and completed the takeover in around 2015!).
Omg yess
They r completely desperate

Thing is, Greg’s TV career hasn’t really taken off - I’m sure they thought he was going to be a massive pundit when they loudly announced his ‘retirement’. Most of his income until this point would have been sponsorships. I don’t reckon they’re as well off as they’d have us believe, therefore they have to bleep themselves out

Maybe, but then look at Tom and Giovanna Fletcher. They’ve made so much money, him in particular, and yet still Insta-whores!

Tom comes across as pretty genuine though, whereas Greg has recently started doing weird voices, pulling cringy faces and generally coming across as desperate for attention. And Tom is making money through his music and his books.

Tom is genuinely likeable

I think Susie would like to be Stacey Solomon, but she lacks 99% of the goodwill
I think she’s mentioned wanting to be a presenter ‘like Stacey Dooley’ before but as you said goodwill and likeability are required and she has neither.

Greg is completely polarising, some housewives like him because he’s faux charming since his media training, but a great number of people think he’s a complete head and there’s likely to be a media perception that he has a large amount of self-entitlement and a temper to go with it, given his previous behaviour - not a good combo and difficult to work with.

I agree that Tom is quite likeable, and talented - but the point was that he has no need to sell his family life, yet still does.
Ah yes sorry. I wonder if a lot of it is cashing in whilst you can?
I mean surely we aren’t still going to be watching these people in ten years time? But then again who knows

I personally don’t mind the Fletchers, and their Insta lives were a pretty natural progression from their vlogging YouTube days which they clearly put a lot of time in...

SV does everything a little half arsed, from her blog to her house seemingly, if she didn’t have the totally effortless and easy platform for Insta stories what would she do? The thing I find the most striking about her is her laziness. She bleats on about work and this book she’s been writing for about 5 years... but never seems to do much.

She is a STAHM with a shopping addiction that she makes some cash from through AFF links. There is NOTHING wrong with this, but the exaggeration of her life pre kids break me. She was a junior at a magazine and worked on the online before that was the biggest thing... she talks about her time at Look and Nuts like she was senior features writer 🤦🏼‍♀️

Oh, absolutely! They’re cashing in while they can, the kids are cute and can’t say no, etc etc. Still the mind boggles, why would anyone sell their family life if they don’t actually financially need to? If they needed to from a financial standpoint, then get to work - I can never understand who comes to the conclusion that selling your kids is the answer 😩

“Ice cream scientists?” For goodness sake you just made ice cream with them. She thinks she’s so creative when she does things with the kids. I’m going to let my son be a water explorer tonight (have a bath) then tomorrow he can be a martial arts master (play fight) and a computer programmer (watch the iPad)

And it’s a kit that was sent to her for free. We’re talking absolute minimum input here. But let’s applaud her excellent parenting and hold her up as a role model 🙄

Jesus poor boy 😔
Ouch, that looks horrendously painful. I suffer badly from nettles, I can just brush a tiny bit of a plants leaf, like literally just touch it, and I am inflammed and it lasts for 24 hrs. My boyfriend could stroke the same plant and probably eat it and not feel it. He can’t understand my suffering.

That poor boy, if he reacts like me that will be horrendous pain.

Oh man, that poor kid. Again, his insta obsessed mum taking pictures and posting instead of comforting him and maybe actually doing something to relieve it. Notice how she uses present tense ‘he’s so upset’ not like it was hours before. Currently upset at the time of posting. She’s a piece of tit. My son gets similar horrible reactions from nettles and stings. He’s always so upset when it happens, usually on holidays in the countryside, there’s no way I’d be concerning myself with Instagram. The thing is, I bet this is on their own garden. There’s probably bloody nettles everywhere they’re too lazy and busy on stories to clear away, despite their son having such bad reactions to them.

Yes. This. At what point whilst tending to your distressed child do you think ‘oh wait just hold still a moment, need to take a picture for the gram’ 🙄 AND THEN send it to your partner so he can post it too. They’re like paparazzi to their own children.

I just don’t get why you’d post that photo unless you were asking for advice. Desperate.
