What a great way to teach her children that even BOOKS about people who are different to 'us' DO NOT BELONG ON THE SAME SHELF AS BOOKS ABOUT LOVELY PERFECT ABLE BODIED WHITE STRAIGHT MIDDLE CLASS PEOPLE WHO ARE BETTER THAN EVERYONE ELSE WE'RE JUST NOT ALLOWED TO SAY IT NOWADAYS. If only it was 2013! A simpler time.
