I did enjoy the vlog too. I think the fact she seemed to actually be doing stuff and wasn't just sitting in bed complaining about how tired she was after a day of reading helped, and I think the little bits of humour with moments like Indie's hair made it feel a lot more real.

I watched her hour long recent vlog earlier out of interest and, honestly, if she is pregnant, it’s the only excuse for saying how she is so tired and needs extra sleep hours etc constantly whilst admitting that she doesn’t really actually do anything during the day.

But then she says that sort of thing all the time.

Yeah she seems to be tired so often! I always thought it was because she did so little. I always feel more tired when I have a lazy day for some reason. Though of course if she is pregnant then fair enough!

If they think it's safe for her mom, there's no doubt they will bend the rules and do as they please.

This is the same girl who went on a sponsored trip to the US at the beginning of the pandemic and who, instead of apologising for her stupid mistake that might've put other people's lives at risk, made a video full of excuses. Some people seem to have forgotten this happened. She doesn't care about public safety, she only cares about her family's wellbeing.

Yeah I could definitely see them thinking ok well we should get out while we can like a lot of rich folk have done and go travel to their second home risking the community around them, not caring because it gets them out of the area where the rate is higher. Rich people are going to rich people and think the rules again only apply to us poor folks so they'll do whatever they want and again they won't think about the consequences it has on other places. Like I know people who have been very safe but they made one misstep and guess what they ended up in ICU and it's never good, so honestly I wouldn't put it past her to be selfish she's shown how selfish she can get in the past.

I've thought that too! All my friends have been working hard since graduation, and whilst I'm sure a lot of her friends were well off too I can't imagine that none of them have been working. It must be so weird to hang out with her and complain about work when she does nothing all day.

I know one of them, she’s privately educated and her parents are very well off, she has her own house and has been working, most of her friends work but I’m sure one of them was doing a maters too!

Hi. New to the thread but watched her since Edinburgh uni days. Can someone catch me up, whats happened to her mum? Is she still living at home? Etc etc

She moved back in with her mum and stepdad, did a master's, bought a house that's being renovated. That's pretty much it! Zak became a chef for a bit and is now unemployed as he's helping Jess with whatever the hell she does... Bit of an anomaly!

Edit: oh and her mum was recently diagnosed with lymphoma.

I’m still really undecided, she used to be slim because of her diet (less take always and being at uni) as soon as moved back home she was very active, she was doing PT 3 days a week, spin another too and Pilates another couple of times, I do think she’s made reference to being a bit bigger size wise due to lack of activity. So I do think the majority of that is down to that, I’ll be super surprised if she is (and if that’s what they want to do) I almost think they’d have waited until she they’ve moved into their house? But Covid and her other family circumstances may have changed her perspective

it's weird bc her name isn't referenced in Companies House... which company does she bill under??

Could be self-employed therefore no company needed and no one else can see her earnings apart from her.
Or she could be a sole tradder but I dont know much about that.

I know the Goodreads leak happened in July, so that means she got pregnant in June, shortly after her mom's diagnosis, right?

If she is pregnant, it would explain why she has posted more videos of late, not that she needs the money but it may well be that they are negotiating some baby brand deals (maternity wear etc)
