What was about the pumpkin? Sorry, I am not up to date with everything.
I don’t feel that critical of her, I more feel a bit disappointed for her that she can’t get out of a rut. She’s had stresses recently but unfortunately life is horribleIn fairness to her about being happy, since leaving uni her auntie passed away with cancer, her father and step family moved to America and her mother was diagnosed with cancer, on top of everyone else’s unhappiness/anxiety of being in lockdown for most of the year. If we’re going to say she’s young to have a baby, I imagine that’s a lot for a young person to deal with.
Promise I have criticised her in the past in this thread, just never understood the argument she should go get a job, because most jobs are bloody awful.
Her mum, yeah. And I don't deny that it must be tough for Jess too, but she's always been lazy, this behaviour isn't new. She’s undergoing cancer treatment. It was diagnosed April/May time.
I agree about the reliance, I think one of the most important things a woman can be is financially independent, but I also think people should be given a choice without judgement.I agree how problematic out dated opinions on gender roles are..... I also think it's fair to question why someone's partner is on the bank roll of a family member. That's not normal. Getting back to chauffer around your partner's mum, run errands, cook for relatives, etc. is quite strange no? It doesn't matter whether that person is the father or mother. Relying so much on your parnter for your income is scary.
He quit quite a long time ago. If I remember correctly, Jess was bored sitting alone at home at night whilst he was out at his chef job and so they came to an agreement that he would quit and “work” for her.Not sure when he quit his job, but perhaps when she found out she was pregnant they both decided to split the load of parenting and work and that’s why he now works for her?
Also her boyfriend doesn't seem to be able to keep a job.She and her boyfriend haven’t even moved out of her parents house lol. If this were a girl who was not very rich and white and pretty the comments everywhere would be far more judgmental and scathing.
I agree with this as well.I'm not trying to contradict your post, but she's the one posting clues, pregnant pumpkins, obvious photos, and captions that hint at a pregnancy, so she must know that people are going to speculate?
She's a vlogger, after all, she chooses to put her private information out to the public for a living. It can't all be easy money and flattering comments without any cons, just like any other job out there.
I also find this very awkward. Imagine living so lavishly in your significant others mums home and doing so little. Given the standard of everything the family eat, wear, and do, it's just not conceivable that Zak is popping out to Primark on Saturday mornings to get his jeans and socks. It's obvious that Jess' money (i.e. her mums money) is his as well. Then again, maybe I'm too judgemental, as I don't think I would find it so uncomfortable if Zak were the wealthy one sharing it with Jess...I don't really know what Zak does all day to be honest if he works for her. She doesn't upload videos regularly at all, and updates her insta sporadically. So what does he do exactly?
Also I'm sure he's a nice guy otherwise her mum would never let him be in the house and fund them both, but yeah I'm curious about the dynamics too.
